Query on the Hardys, Interviews with Bret Hart/Cody Rhodes, Questions on Steiner/TNA, Piper, Steiner/WWE, and Doink, new Destination X matches, Miz update, more from Morrison, Diva resigns, former WWE/WCW/ECW star at Impact, and the identity of X-Division superstars

First up, a query sent into the blog.
1. I get this one a lot. The answer's still the same. I don't see Matt Hardy going back on the road for WWE full-time, if he even wants to come back. I could maybe see Jeff returning to WWE down the line, but right now he's locked into TNA and I haven't heard anything to suggest that that will be changing soon. If there's any update on either of them as it relates to coming back to WWE, I'll be sure to post it.

Bret Hart talked at an autograph signing.

Cody Rhodes talked about his Dashing gimmick and more. I liked the paper bag gimmick, but see why they stopped it.

For my take on today's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Steiner's case had gotten a lot more publicity, and (according to the lawsuit), TNA feels that they have taken damages from his words. There was also apparently something in his TNA contract that they feel prohibits him from disparaging them.

Nothing to add to 2, so after the break I go into the rest of the day's news and notes.

3. Maybe they felt that Piper didn't need the title to be Hogan's chief antagonist? Old-school WWF was primarily about the top babyface being champion and beating all the heel challengers. Hogan was champion for 4 years straight at one point.

4. I don't really know why they put Steiner up on the website, but I wouldn't count on him becoming  buddy-buddy with WWE.

5. About the only name I can add to the list is Chris Jericho playing him once.

Added to Destination X:
AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels- Last Man Standing
Ultimate X to crown the new X-Division Champion
Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe in the Bound For Glory Series

The Miz is expected back soon after finishing filming "The Marine: Homefront".

Here's another part of "Cut That Promo" with John Morrison.

Maxine has left WWE after not being offered a guaranteed deal and not having a chance to prove herself outside of NXT. I don't blame her under those circumstances. She was cutting better promos and having better matches than most Divas on the main roster. TNA should pick her up immediately.

2 Cold Scorpio (known in WWE as Flash Funk) was backstage at Impact. No word on if he'll be used in the X-Division tournament.

The "new faces" in the X-Division on Impact were:
Jigsaw, best known for his work in CHIKARA (Rubix)
Jeez from CZW and the UWF (Rashad Cameron)
and Scorpio Sky from the California indie scene and WSX (Mason Andrews).
If last year is any indication, some of these guys could end up signing on for TNA full-time.

More news tomorrow!
