Queries on Glacier-TNA and WWE buying TNA, Questions on Lita, TNA buying WWE(!), rollups, Colon - NWA Champ, and a WWE TV title, Heyman update, Interviews with Hendrix/Kofi/Truth, new WWE show, former X-Division Champ gets WWE tryout, Alex Silva update, and the Smackdown rating

First up, some queries:
1. I don't see TNA hiring Glacier. At least not as a wrestler. At 48, he's not exactly a spring chicken and I don't know if there'd be a big enough nostalgia reaction to justify hiring him.

2. There continue to be no plans for WWE to buy TNA. There have been no serious indications that they will do so.

For my take on today's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Maybe for a cameo or something but I also don't think she'd return full time.

2. TNA? Buying WWE? That'd be like Burger King buying McDonalds. WWE's still a lot higher on the foodchain. I don't see TNA launching itself past WWE in the way WWF beat WCW any time soon, if they do at all.

I go into everything else from the day after the break.
3. It's kind of anticlimactic. There's a reason big finishing moves are big finishing moves and a rollup only gets the win every once in a while.

4. The way I've always heard it, the title wasn't supposed to change hands then. The conditions were such that there could have been a riot had it not changed, so they did the (unapproved by the Board) switch. Some people count it as a title switch, and some don't.

5. It's possible that they do, but there's nothing to suggest it.

Paul Heyman's deal calls for him to appear regularly through Summerslam, but both sides are open to things continuing. Heyman wants to work with Punk, so that could be where things head after August.

Gut Check's Taeler Hendrix talked about her TNA match and career.

WWE will be debuting WWE Main Event on Wednesdays this October. So NXT replaced FCW TV and that's replacing NXT (which had kind of become another Superstars). I'm hoping for something like the latter half of NXT:Redemption, with storylines and matches with guys who don't get a lot of time as it is. I bet the hard-worked WWE roster isn't thrilled with this news.

Amazing Red got a WWE tryout in the week ahead of No Way Out. Maybe for the proposed Cruiserweight show? He can do some pretty impressive stuff.

Here's an interview with the WWE Tag Team Champions.

TNA's Alex Silva is sorting out his work visa in Canada.

The latest Smackdown got an improved 2.02.

More news tomorrow!
