An interesting Twitter note, Update on Madusa, NXT appearances, what happened after Raw went off the air, WWE HoF update, backstage notes, Pope leaves TNA, new Gut Check, and Questions on Cena costing Rock, a Taker DVD, Vince's view of the business, and unedited footage

Though he wasn't shown on the graphic on Raw, Zack Ryder has more Twitter followers than The Miz. As popular as he is on Twitter, it's a shame that he's so low on the card. I don't necessarily think he should be pushed ahead of Miz, but he's not featured much at all it seems.

Madusa will only be possibly attending next week's Raw, not appearing on it. I think they could have done something good with her, Kaitlyn, and Eve leading to Kaitlyn winning the Divas Title in her hometown. It's not too late!

Brodus Clay will be joining Dolph Ziggler and AJ at Wednesday's NXT live event.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
After Raw went off the air, C.M. Punk was unsuccessful in attacking The Rock again, falling victim to two more Rock Bottoms and a People's Elbow. No questioning who WWE values more there.

The first inductee into the 2013 class of the WWE Hall of Fame will be announced on next Monday's Raw. Foley?

A number of NXT talents were backstage at Raw since they were so close to the HQ.

D'Angelo Dinero's TNA contract expired on January 1. He did not re-sign. He's a very talented performer who they could have done more with. At least he hadn't been featured in a long time, so they won't have rethink their plans.

TNA has announced another Gut Check for Fayetteville, NC on February 2. Interested parties can sign up at TNAGutCheck.com.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Any number of things are possible, but I wouldn't expect anything other than a clean win for Rock. That'd be rather heelish of Cena and I don't know if they'd do that for his character.

2. It would be great to hear his thoughts on his career, I just don't think we'll see it any time soon given how protective he is of his character.

3. I think Vince does want to be bigger than the wrestling business, given WWE's forays into films and such, but that's not quite what was asked. Vince probably does think that his way is the best way and refuses to admit that he's wrong unless people stand up and command his respect.

4. The 12/24 and 12/31 Raws were bad and made it hard to defend wrestling as something people are missing out on. I definitely think we could use someone new at the helm who doesn't go for so much oddball "comedy".

5. I wouldn't count on it. It all comes down to how much it would sell, and I don't think it would be different enough for people to want it.

More wrestling tomorrow.
