Hardcore Justice update, Interview with Kofi/Bret/Kane/Snuka/Daniels, First member of 2013 WWE Hall, Impact audience, a WWE and NXT release, Jackson update, and Questions on Bully/Brooke, Sarita/Rosita, and Brock Lesnar

TNA's second ECW reunion special will not solely be about ECW, but will feature some names from that promotion. ECW's seemingly always good for a nostalgia reaction. Hopefully the TNA full-timers get the rub from working with those guys.

Kofi Kingston was interviewed. Twice. Interesting to hear him (indirectly) dismiss TNA as competition. I've heard Vince McMahon say something similar. TNA should take that as a challenge.

Mick Foley has been announced for the WWE Hall of Fame. He's certainly deserving.

Bret Hart talked ahead of the re-release of "Wrestling with Shadows". I'd prefer Flair as GM to him.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Kane talked ahead of a live event.

Jimmy Snuka talked about his autobiography.

Christopher Daniels talked ahead of Genesis.

The audience for the most recent Impact was 1.3 million, a loss of over 300,000 viewers from the week before. They could probably have drawn that number without Sting. I don't know what those people were expecting to happen with 1/3/13, but apparently not a lot of them wanted to stick around to see the follow-up.

Trent Barreta has been released by WWE. I always thought he was good at what he did. Hopefully he gets some experience elsewhere and returns refreshed. Either that or he shows up in TNA. He'd be a good fit for the X-Division. All that said, it was no surprise for him to be released given that they weren't using him on the main roster at all.

Ezekiel Jackson is out with another injury. He certainly has an imposing presence, but I don't know how much they can get out of him at this point unless he returns pretty strong.

NXT's Skyler Moon was released, too. She never even appeared on their TV show! Again, at least this was a loss of someone they apparently didn't have any plans for. Moon was known as Buggy Nova pre-WWE.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
Nothing to add to 1.

2. It is a pretty bad angle. I guess some good can come out of it (something with Austin Aries, maybe?), but don't get your hopes up.

3. They hadn't been used since April, so I imagine a lot of people already thought they had been released. I was impressed with both at various times and the Knockouts division could use some fresher faces, but it's no surprise that they were cut.

Nothing to add to 4.

5. I have a feeling we'll be seeing him soon as we get closer to WrestleMania. Triple H as well, and quite possibly The Undertaker.

More wrestling tomorrow!
