World Title direction, NXT stars at WWE events, new Genesis matches, former Women's Champion on Raw 20, Smackdown audience, Raw visitors, and Questions on Attitude Era tag teams in the HoF, Raw vs. the BCS, Swagger, and Lesnar

If current plans hold up, Sheamus and Randy Orton will be featured prominently in the World Title picture going into WrestleMania. It's clear to me which man should walk out with the gold. I don't even think Orton should hold the title unless it's an emergency. Those two Wellness strikes are a BIG deal.

A number of NXT talents attended recent WWE live events in the Florida area, which makes sense since that's where NXT is based.

James Storm vs. Christopher Daniels has been added to TNA Genesis. I think that long-term, they should elevate Storm as a top guy.

Update: Sting vs. DOC has also been put on the card. It will be really interesting to see how they book that. Do they paint DOC as a credible threat or show that Sting "still has it"?

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Former WWF and WCW Women's Champion Madusa will appear on the 20th anniversary of Raw, hopefully involved in a segment with Eve and Kaitlyn. I think they can really "make" Kaitlyn in a big moment on that show.

The most recent Smackdown got 2.72 million viewers, topping every episode from December.

The staff from NXT were backstage at Raw.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
Nothing to add to 1.

2. I imagine they'll go in eventually. It still seems kind of soon since some of those guys are still active.

3. I hate when they throw in the towel against big shows. If they're doing their jobs right, people are watching Raw every week!

4. He could just be working off ring rust while they think of what to do with him.

5. Lesnar will definitely be back in the picture once Mania season kicks in. It's just a matter of when. I'll be a little disappointed if we get HHH vs. Lesnar again. HHH is a future Hall of Famer win, lose, or draw. The match does nothing for him.

More wrestling tomorrow.
