Live event shake-ups, guest at Raw, what happened after Raw, Interviews with Bearer/Golust/Cabana, and Questions on Cena post-Mania, Rock, Brock, and an Aces and 8s ref

John Cena is off the weekend of 2/8-2/10. The New Age Outlaws, however, will be working those dates. Big Show is also off during that time. Everyone needs a break here and there. It's a shame that they put so many eggs in those baskets.

Comedian George Wallace was at Raw.

After Raw, John Cena sang "Happy Birthday" to Sheamus. Dolph Ziggler interrupted and of course was laid out.

Add Stephanie McMahon to those at Raw. She doesn't go on the road every week due to having kids.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

The Rock did a localized promo for Raw, which is very uncommon these days. It would be cool if they did that more often.

Paul Bearer was interviewed. I like that he's helping out Ricardo, who is indeed doing a pretty good job.

Billy Gunn will work NXT live events on 2/13, 2/17, and 2/22. It will be interesting to see how he's used.

The average viewership for Raw was 5.02 million viewers. There was a LOT of buzz out there post-Rumble. I think they did a good job of setting up big things going forward.

Goldust talked about the Royal Rumble.

Colt Cabana talked about a number of topics. Interesting stuff.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Hopefully they elevate someone with a big win over him. Of course, pretty much everyone has been defines as not in his league. He beats up-and-comers left and right. They have a lot of work to do post-Mania. The longer they postpone it, the harder it's going to be.

2. That would be terrible and I hope it never happens! A lot of the fallout would depend on exactly what happened, but I think they'd write it off as a very unfortunate accident, tell the workers to be extra careful, and keep on keeping on.

Nothing to add to 3.

4. It would be interesting at least, but they're right that Brock doesn't need anyone to dominate the company.  He took Cena to the limit and put HHH on the shelf. By himself. I guess it could work, though.

5. I guess it could happen. I wouldn't be totally against it. I like when the focus is on the wrestlers, though, and not the "side characters" (refs, announcers, etc.)

More wrestling tomorrow.
