Saturday Morning Slam Reax - 1/19/13, NXT star works live events, TNA wedding coverage, Profiles on Cesaro and Clayton, TNA Champion pulled from UK tour, and Questions on Taz, TNA/ROH, Gut Check, Genesis, and The Rock

Saturday Morning Slam:
Natalya vs. Alicia was better than it had any right to be. Divas' matches don't get much attention in 2013 sometimes. Glad to see Natalya pick up a win, since she's usually putting someone over. Natalya vs. Kaitlyn would be a nice feud for the title.

Good Sheamus promo.

I didn't care for Sheamus vs. McGillicutty as I'm pretty sure they could put on a pretty damned good match if told to do so.

Good segment between Miz and PTP. Hopefully both parties get to shine. Darren's worked hard and could get a nice rub.

NXT's Bo Dallas worked recent Raw live events. First he beat Damien Sandow by DQ when Cody Rhodes ran in, then he and Rey Mysterio won a tag match over Team Rhodes Scholars. That's a pretty big first impression. It's clear that management likes Dallas. The IWC is less sold on him.

Gossip guru Perez Hilton covered Bully Ray's bachelor party as if it was a shoot. Nice.

Antonio Cesaro put over a live event. Cool.

Here's another story on recent WWE signing Clayton Jack.

Jeff Hardy was replaced on TNA's UK tour by Sting, likely due to his past legal problems. It still kind of gets me that they put the title on him again after his rocky road. Why not homegrown talent James Storm, who's clean as a whistle?

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I was growing pretty tired of Taz's commentary personally. I'm fine with him taking a break. Though I think it would be cool if he stayed on commentary as the Aces and Eights mouthpiece personally (think Paul Heyman during the WCW/ECW invasion).

2. I guess it's possible, but someone can't be under contract for both companies at once. And I think there's definitely a difference between the fans of 2013 TNA and 2013 ROH. The companies are pretty different.

3. Stay tuned! I've heard a rumor about where this is going and it's pretty intriguing.

4. By the time they decided to cut back on the number of shows, they had already made plans to do Genesis 2013. They could easily make Genesis a big deal in future years.

Not much to add to 5. I also believe that The Rock loves the wrestling business. It was his springboard into Hollywood.

More wrestling tomorrow.
