Linda McMahon at CT Women's Expo, another HHH interview, update on possible 3-hour Impact Wrestling, Questions on Angle returning to WWE, Kelly turning heel, Mickie vs. Tessmacher, and HHH-Punk, Survivor Series sells out, Rhodes interview, Booker MCing indy show, Regal update, Mickie discusses possible WWE return, and another Orton DVD preview

Linda McMahon was at a women's convention in Connecticut, which WWE's Alex Riley and Kaitlyn also officially attended. However, the appearances weren't in conjunction and there are no plans for the former CEO to return.

Triple H talked about a number of topics in another interview for "Inside Out". There were some nice little jabs in there to a number of former wrestlers and guest hosts. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite interviews because he can say just about anything he wants to and get away with it.

Spike TV is no longer advertising a 3-hour edition of Impact Wrestling in October. This either means it was a mistake, they changed their minds, or they don't want to announce it yet.

PWInsider.com is back to having daily questions. Here are my thoughts on those for 9/10:
1. Barring a falling out with TNA, there doesn't seem to be much of a chance of seeing Angle back in WWE. Three years from now is three years from now, but he wouldn't want to work their schedule and he'd have to pass their health tests. Given the number of injuries he's had over the years, including concussions, he might not clear.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's questions and news, starting with whether Kelly Kelly would work as a heel.

Nothing to add to 2, but for 3. I suppose it could. I picture her heeling the crowd for not being able to get "girls like her". Her voice is honestly rather grating to me, so with the right combination of imagination and effort I think WWE could pull it off. As for now, she's perfect in her role as pretty face against the Divas of Doom.

4. I think that could work. A match against her partner Tara would be good to see as well. She's really improved.

5. I think it'd lead to a match between them at Night of Champions, because that happened recently.

WWE Survivor Series, featuring The Rock, has sold out Madison Square Garden. They'll almost certainly get a mixed reaction there.

Cody Rhodes was interviewed to promote an upcoming Smackdown house show. He had a lucky "unlucky" break indeed with getting that face mask and the resulting change to his voice. He's been quite entertaining in his current persona. Someone to keep an eye on.

Booker T. will be the MC at a show by his indy promotion. I wonder if any of his students will end up in WWE/TNA.

William Regal tweeted about wanting to return to the ring in WWE. Him working with ("teaching") the up-and-comers on-screen in FCW, NXT, and/or Smackdown could certainly have its upside, though I don't know how much longer he can contribute as a Superstar. I'm glad WWE uses him as an agent, as he has loads of experience and skills to pass on.

Mickie James discussed the possibility of a future WWE return on her website. The odds don't seem to be in favor of that one happening.

WWE has released another interesting preview for its upcoming Randy Orton DVD. If there's more where that came from, that will be one to catch.

That's all for Saturday's news. More to come tomorrow, including a preview of TNA No Surrender. Thanks for reading!
