Survivor Series trailer, Questions on tag ropes and rebuilding the tag team division, more of Flair in Boston, Rock's father interviewed, a look at title belts, more on potential WWE Network plans, Bound For Glory to be shown in cinemas, DiBiase tailgating, Rhodes busted open, Miz on YouTube, Heenan injured, more on Abdullah lawsuit, WWE interviews Ziggler, Impact Wrestling rating and demographic information, Superstars no longer being posted online, and Big Show on a Nick show

WWE has a preview trailer for Survivor Series. I think that will end up being pretty successful for the company.

As for my look at PWInsider.com's questions:
1. It's a pretty old-school concept. That's what the referee wants them to hold onto when they're on the apron. Kind of silly in 2011 but I see why they do it. Inside the universe of the show, the matches are actual competitions and the rules reinforce that.

2 was already covered, so I'm skipping to 3. Given how little trouble Cena has against multiple opponents, why would he need a partner? Actually, that could be a good idea. Have Cena try to compete in the tag team division by himself... That's kind of gimmicky, though. Anyway, I'd keep Air Boom and Awesome Truth together for starters. I'd certainly look into the Kings of Wrestling as a team, though I've seen a grand total of zero matches from them. They've gotten plenty of high marks. I agree about The Usos. I've enjoyed what I've seen of them. Give the team of Hawkins and Reks a shot. Possibly a team of Derrick Bateman and Johnny Curtis. JTG/Young and Watson/O'Neil from NXT. There are probably a few other combinations from the main roster that could work as well. There's only so much time to focus on the division, so this is kind of a pipe dream. If they can get Beer Money, then more power to them, but I'd go on the assumption that wouldn't be able to come in. I'd definitely look their way. The Young Bucks, though? Not a chance. MAYBE in FCW. Colt Cabana could probably work in a team with someone, too.

There really isn't anything to add to the other questions, so after the break I move to the rest of the day's news, starting with more on Ric Flair with the Boston Red Sox.

Here's more footage of Ric Flair in Boston, courtesy of TNA. That's a pretty cool appearance that could theoretically get people to check out the company. Every little bit helps.

Rocky Johnson, The Rock's father, talked about his son's WrestleMania match and possible Hall of Fame induction. It'd only be natural for him to go in in Miami next year.

Here's a fun look at title belts outside of wrestling, featuring quotes by C.M. Punk. Pretty awesome. It's a better idea for morale than a plaque or ribbon in my book. Maybe even a trophy! A Movies Championship instead of an Oscar? Fine by me.

PWInsider.com has more on the survey regarding the upcoming WWE Network. I'm VERY curious as to how PPVs would do on the channel as opposed to the current set-up. That's a game-changer, no doubt about it.

TNA has officially signed a deal to show Bound For Glory in a select number of cinemas across the country at a cheaper price. Hey, if it draws in money and fans that they wouldn't have otherwise, then I'm ok with it.

Ted DiBiase has started an idea of doing tailgating parties before WWE events. Interesting idea. If it gets him over, more power to him. WWE certainly isn't letting him develop on-screen in the personality department. They could be doing a lot more with him now that he's split from Rhodes. As of now, he's just "the other guy in Legacy who broke from Cody Rhodes".

Speaking of Rhodes, he was legitimately busted open in his Smackdown match with Randy Orton. They edited that really well.

The Miz has opened up a YouTube channel. I guess he needs something to do now that he's a "free agent". Kudos for going the extra mile.

Bobby Heenan's appearances for this weekend have been canceled after a fall-related injury. Hopefully he heals soon. Very witty guy.

The ongoing lawsuit against Abdullah The Butcher was covered, with more details from both sides coming in. Some of those things were noticeably not mentioned in the documentary clips Nicholson provided around the time of Butcher's Hall of Fame induction. The plot thickens.

WWE.com talked with Dolph Ziggler about he "sucker punch" he received on Raw. Tremendous working by him lately, given how many news outlets bought into his Tweets on the matter. He single-handedly added to the coverage of the angle that way. Very passionate guy who's 100% into his character.

Impact Wrestling got a 1.08 rating on Thursday as they further stumble into Bound For Glory. Of note is that
ratings were even lower among men 12-49, and adults in general 18-49. In other words, a lot of people watching the show are older wrestling fans perhaps drawn in by the nostalgia factor of some of the angles and talents.

WWE has made the decision to "pull the plug" on airing WWE Superstars online, due to the declining amount of viewers watching it. It will still air internationally as scheduled. Given that it got very little press even on the website it was airing on, and oftentimes was posted later than the stated air time, it should come as no surprise that a lot of people eventually gave up on it. You'd think they'd try to remedy that by better promotion. They had weekly first-run matches that weren't on Raw and Smackdown and they treated the show like just another video on the website.

The results for this week's edition were as follows. I'll post the results of weeks to come as the matches are taped:
Brodus Clay over Johnny Gragano.
Ted DiBiase over Tyson Kidd
Alex Riley over Primo
Mason Ryan over Drew McIntyre
I certainly would have wanted to see that show. If WWE promoted it right, others would, too. The show could theoretically be brought back to TV down the line or (more likely) added to the WWE Network next year. Honestly, it seems more likely to be replaced when the Network comes like Heat and Velocity before it. NXT could be in a similar position.

Finally, Big Show will be in a big field day-type event by Nickelodeon. That's good for the company to be a part of. Maybe he should be used in more of an ambassador role as his in-ring career dies down.

That's all for Friday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
