WWE.com has released more details on the upcoming Stone Cold Steve Austin DVD.

The Miz tweeted about Triple H's own checkered past with WWE officials, attacking him for firing he and R-Truth for their recent actions. Things like this are much better ways of bringing reality to wrestling than documentary-style camerawork and referring to performers' real names.

Reby Sky talked to Howard Stern about her boyfriend Matt Hardy entering rehab.

On to my look at PWInsider.com's questions for Tuesday:
1. In order: They're pushing him, the alliance with Cena is because of mutual enemies moreso than them being friends (and he never hated him in the first place, as per the promo that started the whole angle), and Punk didn't fight HHH because he believes that someone's just playing them against each other. He'd be a sucker and an idiot to walk right into that trap. Laurinaitis interrupted him before they could possibly go at it, anyway. It's not like Austin and McMahon brawled every week in their feud. I get the feeling sometimes that some fans are just looking for things to complain about, whether they're educated and accurate criticisms or not.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news and questions, starting with why Mike Awesome wasn't successful in WCW or WWE.

2. Given how the latter years of WCW were booked and written, it's a surprise that anyone got over. WWE might not have wanted to push him after his lackluster WCW run. And people think TODAY'S mainstream gimmicks are terrible.

3. There's probably some kind of law of probability that makes this a strong possibility. Surely SOMEONE out there used it (or will after seeing that question). Just probably not in a major promotion.

4. As alluded to in #2, WCW's final years were god-awful. They were running around like chickens with their heads cut off trying all kinds of crazy combinations of things to try to get people watching again. hence all the run-ins and bad gimmicks and swerves.

5. If you would have told me a couple of years ago that Team 3D would be putting on some of the best work in the company, I'd have laughed at you. I thought they were quite past their primes both physically and creatively. Now, though? Both of them have been rejuvenated and have what it takes to add to the company instead of taking up space just because they have name value. They've successfully "turned back the clock" to a degree and I'm generally enjoying what they're doing. I don't know what made them put in the extra effort, but I'm glad they're doing it.

Vince McMahon was reportedly very upset when his name was mentioned in a pre-taped promo by Alberto Del Rio. He's said to have slammed a monitor down, understandably causing people to steer clear of him.In storylines, he's been "relieved of his duties" so he doesn't want his name to be on the broadcast. It's also been said that he previously approved that promo, so it must have slipped by or something. He's quick to anger at times, and as the man helming the ship by and large, this isn't a good sign. If he does go off the deep end, who could possibly vote him out and take over? All in all, a situation to follow.

William Regal will be representing WWE as a trainer at a Harley Race training camp. He's presently working with talents on the main roster to improve their ring work. Very good choice. He's forgotten more about wrestling than a lot of people remember!

Before Raw began taping, Percy Watson and Titus O'Neil beat Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins. It looks like those two will be a part of NXT going forward. Something's a-brewin' in the tag team division.

Raw's Superstars matches had (international spoilers!) The Bella Twins defeating AJ and Kaitlyn, and John Morrison beating Drew McIntyre. McIntyre can't even beat someone who could be leaving the company! I guess the "Supershow" thing carries over to Superstars, too. I might have to start tracking this down on YouTube or something.

The Miz and R-Truth crashed a Raw house show. Awesome stuff. I particularly liked R-Truth "messing uo" the city's name. I think I'd actually be ok with them being part of a new nWo with Nash, provided they're the ones who are pushed.

In addition to the regularly appearing FCW/WWE goers-between, Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler will appear at this Friday's FCW show. Nice video promo.

C.M. Punk talked about Sunday's WWE Title match inside Hell In A Cell. Videos all over the place lately.

TNA has announced a tour of South America, with a promise of more international tours to come. They also hyped recent overseas TV deals. They're growing more than some of us give them credit for.

Mr. Anderson was interviewed in Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Here are some highlights. The difference between him being injured and those other guys being injured is that people actually wanted to see them return. All of them worked their ways up the ranks instead of complaining that things weren't going their way. I don't blame them for cutting him at all. As for his current character, I see why WWE didn't want him to use it. It's annoying and repetitive. Heck, it's downright bad a lot of the time. The 18-34 audience is much more into WWE than TNA, PG or not. When a lot of the roster is older than that mark, throwing around profanity to look cool only goes so far. The confusing alignments of characters turns casual fans away. Anti-heroes can work, but not when a lot of the roster is in different shades of gray. Punk's angle worked so well becuase he was the only one doing anything like that. It was fresh and well-done. TNA's a convoluted mess at times, and it's harder for a non-black or white character to stand out with the constant changes. All in all, if you want to read the mindset that's making TNA mediocre, read that interview.

Rey Mysterio is getting his knee checked to see if it need another surgery.

Jerry Lawler is expected to be back by Raw, if not Hell in a Cell. Good to hear. That could have ended up a good deal worse.

John Cena discussed a number of things as he promoted Monday's Raw. Nice handling of the "meaner" question.

Kevin Nash has been pulled from an independent show scheduled for Saturday. This could very well mean that we'll be seeing him at Hell in a Cell.

TNA's Robbie E will be involved in a seminar with his former home, the ECWA.

TNA has released their Licensing Manager Ashley Rigby. Not yet sure what that means for the big picture of the company.

A poster and website have been released to promote next month's WWE Studios release, featuring John Cena and Amy Smart (!).

Raw got a 2.98 rating on Monday. Going up against a monster NFL game, and a number of returning shows elsewhere didn't work out as well as they would have liked. It could have been worse, but it could have been a lot better as well. All the releases, injuries, retirements, and so on over the years have left them a bit short-handed given that it takes a good while for someone to become a big draw. I think they're on the right path now, but it's not going to get better for them overnight.

Here's a pretty cool poster previewing WrestleMania 28. Tickets go on sale 11/5, with pre-orders beginning before then.

Zack Ryder talked about his YouTube show possibly ending with WWE Magazine. It's been consistently entertaining, so there's no need to stop it yet. At some point it could get repetitive and/or he could be over enough that it comes across as low-rent, but I don't think we've reached that point. as for the idea working for him, sometimes fortune favors the brave. I'd like to see more members of the roster branch out their personas.

That's all for Tuesday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
