More on Hardy plea deal, HHH on HBK's show, TNA appearances, BFG match, new merch deal for TNA, Impact Wrestling post show, more "Inside Out" reviews, No Surrender hype package, HHH interviews, where to vote for Punk in Australian KCA, ex-WWE employee talks 9/11, NoC ticket giveaway, Kofi promotes house show, match added to No Surrender, possible new developmental territory discussed, WWE.com talks with Aksana and Laurinaitis, Impact Wrestling rating, Regal wants World Title match, and an interesting WWE trademarktling

A few more details have been released about Jeff Hardy's plea deal. I'm looking forward to that interview. He's got a lot of pressure on him to show that he's turned around.

Update: Here's more, including comments from Hardy's attorney. He's pretty good at his job, apparently. Unless someone else in the case was particularly bad at theirs. Given that no one pointed out that not all wrestling fans want violence and Hardy only uses ladders on occasions, it might be wise to lean towards the latter.

Triple H will appear on Shawn Michaels' outdoors show this coming Tuesday, as well as on the following episode.

Christy Hemme and Devon will be at a Direct Auto Insurance in Orlando on 9/10 for an autograph signing.

In what's technically a minor spoiler, Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn is currently scheduled for Bound For Glory. With that event taking place in Philadelphia, they're looking to capitalize on whatever remnants of the old ECW audience are still there.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news, starting with a new deal for TNA.

TNA has a new deal with Rebel Spirit to design some of their T-shirts.

Here's the "post-game" show for Impact Wrestling.

Update: Triple H was interviewed about the film.

Update: Add Variety to the list of those reviewing it.

Update: Here's another Triple H interview, where he also goes into criticisms about him over his career, whether wrestling will be as big as it used to be, independent wrestling, and more. Very interesting read from someone we normally don't get to hear much from.

Update: ESPN.com has a brief HHH interview as well.

TNA has a big preview for No Surrender up.

Here's the link to vote for C.M. Punk in Australia's Kids' Choice Awards.

A former WWE employee blogged about what 9/11/01 was like for those at Titan Towers. The following episode of Smackdown was surreal.

Here's a contest to win tickets to WWE Night of Champions, which is shaping up pretty well.

Kofi Kingston was quoted in a piece to promote an upcoming Raw house show.

Kid Kash vs. Jesse Sorensen in a #1 Contender's match for the X-Division Championship has been added to TNA No Surrender. This is one storyline that TNA's doing that I'm actually enjoying so far.

Lance Storm discussed talks he's had with WWE about his academy being part of their developmental system among a multitude of other topics. That might be a smart move. They could use it for the in-ring training aspect and FCW for character development. There's not really any way of knowing if that system would work better, and a lot of staff would have to relocate and the like, so it's easier for WWE to just maintain the status quo. Storm in FCW could work as well, but obviously he'd have to want to move there.

WWE.com spoke with Aksana (in-character) about her agenda on Smackdown, though not much was gained by the conversation.

Impact Wrestling drew a 1.02 on Thursday up against Day 1 of the NFL season. That obviously played a large deal in the rating, though numbers had been in a slump lately regardless.

John Laurinaitis also spoke with WWE.com to continue his angle with Triple H and Kevin Nash. There continues to be speculation that Nash is still officially employed by the company.

William Regal wants a World Title match when Smackdown goes to Liverpool in November. Doesn't everyone? I suppose I'd be ok with that. Him winning, on the other hand, I wouldn't be. I respect Regal's accomplishments and he was an outstanding worker in his prime but that's more than a little farfetched in 2011.

Finally, WWE is (or was at one point) looking to copyright "The Network", which is of course associated with TNA at the moment. It's possible that that was a working name for Nexus. I suppose that could finish that application up and use it for WWE Network.

That's all for Friday's news. More to come later. Thanks for reading!
