Query on Low Ki-TNA, Questions on Knockouts, the Hardys, promotions paying for surgeries, and Nash vs. Punk, update on DGUSA talents to WWE, R-Truth interview, Marella in car accident, WWE lawsuit dismissed, Del Rio update, another Supershow house show, and Angle apologizes

Today starts off with a query:
I don't see Low Ki going back to TNA right now, considering they haven't signed him post-Destination X like some of their other new X-Division additions. It could happen down the line, but both sides would have to be happy with the arrangement and that's no guarantee with him.

PWInsider.com has some new questions up:
1. I don't necessarily see a correlation between them releasing Cookie and not signing new Knockouts. I believe it was just a case of her contract being up and them not using her anyway. They are doing more with the Knockouts division with the "Knockouts Law" storyline, so it's possible we'll see some new faces under the "new regime". ODB, Jackie, and possibly Traci have returned, but that might be it for now.

2. I can see that theory, and also the one that they're not as big of a deal as they used to be. But, Jeff's had drug problems going back years, and Matt just explained some of his issues, so that might not be it. I agree that they're not "Hardy Boys" anymore. Hardys will suffice.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news and questions, starting with promotions paying for surgeries.

Nothing to add to 3, so on to 4. One could make the argument that smaller promotions can't afford to cover such things (and still afford some of the other acquisitions and expenses they have to deal with).

5. I believe I've heard that Nash wanted to work with Punk, but WWE's definitely behind the idea as a theoretical way to get Punk over someone with a lot of history. It's not panning out like they'd hoped. Cena seems to have been a better choice, and what I would have gone with.

There won't be any immediate WWE signings of DGUSA roster members, though a number of people there are "on the radar" for the company.

R-Truth promoted an upcoming Raw house show, discussing his alliance with Miz. They've been outstanding lately.

Santino Marella was recently in a car accident, and will miss Raw. Hopefully he checks out ok.

A lawsuit filed by WWE over licensing has been dismissed. Sounds pretty complicated.

Alberto Del Rio's work visa has been renewed. He'll be back at this weekend's house shows and from Raw forward.

Another Raw house show has become a Supershow. This is becoming more frequent. The people on top are working more dates, and the people who aren't being booked on these shows aren't getting a chance to gain experience at them. A short-term gain maybe, but this "brand re-merging" shouldn't last beyond a few months.

Kurt Angle apologized for becoming upset about his ranking on a recent WWE DVD. Maybe he should wait a while before Tweeting things he's mad about next time.

That's all for Friday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
