What happened after Raw, Hansen autobiography out, top WWE prospect injured, more coverage of Angle DWI, Grisham, Laurinaitis as GM, Benoit as World Champ, and contacting TNA, Raw commentary update, new UK deal with WWE.com, Impact Wrestling rating, HHH in charity endeavor, Angle disputes DWI, Foley interview, more from Edge, Australian ratings, Karen Jarrett talks Knockouts, new WWE developmental signing, the Smackdown replay rating, and Rolling Stone covers Collins at WWE show

After Raw went off the air, C.M. Punk chased Ricardo Rodriguez back into the ring, where he received an Attitude Adjustment. Punk and Cena eventually shook hands at the crowd's urging. Great bit.

"The Lariat" Stan Hansen's autobiography is now officially available.

Bo Rotundo, one of the top stars in FCW, has suffered a lacerated kidney and will miss 3-4 months. Before his injury, he was a multiple-time FCW Champion, and he was being considered to be brought up to the main roster. That's very unfortunate, and sounds quite painful. Given how much he's been pushed and some of the opinions I've heard on him, I'm very curious to see him if he does eventually make it to the Raw or Smackdown brand. They could either put him on a future season of NXT or have him team with his brother Husky Harris. Or, they could do NXT leading to a team with Husky. Whatever floats their boat.

The story of Kurt Angle's most recent DWI was picked up by another news outlet. I'm split as to whether TNA should acknowledge this on-screen and/or off. I think they can actually use the incident to add heat to his character (not that they necessarily should). Also, when your World Champion's caught in something that's that big of a deal, you'd think there'd be a public statement on the matter, or at least some indication that the company might do something about it. When RVD was WWE and ECW Champion and he was caught with drugs, they got the titles off of him at the next TV tapings and suspended him for 30 days. I don't think TNA would do the same.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news and questions, starting with a story on TNA's Rosita discussing 9/11.
Rosita was interviewed in conjunction with a piece she'll be a part of discussing the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks. Good piece, even if the writer's unaware of what a hurricanrana is.

Next up, PWInsider.com has some new questions to examine:
1. Indeed he has. It took years of hard work, but it really paid off. I specifically remember Big Show praising him for his dedication to the company back when they were a team.

2. I felt that he was bland at times. He just didn't really have the voice of some of the other commentators. I'd heard similar stories to them, but that's the first time they'd mentioned them so I wasn't sure if they were just hearsay swimming in the sea of internet rumors.

3. That'd be one of the few people who'd make sense at this point, though you'd think that the COO would be privy to who his successor brought on in the GM role. I mean, he/she's on the payroll, right? It seems like they'll just continue to neglect it.

4. I remember that rumor, but never saw it traced to a credible source. So, looks like it's "officially" debunked.

5. It was/is under "Info". They're also on Twitter, as is Dixie Carter. They're aware that a contingent of fans despise their product, as many people have voiced similar opinions. As long as ratings stay somewhat consistent and they keeping drawing house show crowds, merchandise sells, etc. (domestically and internationally), it doesn't look like they'll drastically change their philosophies.

Jim Ross has said that he'll stop bickering with Michael Cole and focus on what's going on in the ring, gaining him quite a bit of praise from some online fans.

WWE has a new agreement with Burst media regarding advertising sales on WWE.com. I'm hoping that's a good thing.

Impact Wrestling, headlined by Kurt Angle vs. Sting for the World Championship with Hulk Hogan as the referee, AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels, and Winter vs. Mickie James for the Knockouts Championship in 3 big grudge matches, not to mention the end of the Bound For Glory Series, drew a paltry 1.06 rating. It's really time to go to the drawing board as far as creative and executive members. This direction isn't working.

Triple H will be part of a MDA campaign.

Kurt Angle has produced a legal document showing that he was below the legal BAC limit when he arrested for DWI. There could be something to his side of the story, though this in of itself doesn't fully exonerate him. Hopefully we get a clearer picture of this from others involved.

Update: Angle's attorneys sent in an official statement to PWInsider.com. I think the story's still worth covering and pretty important given his history and current standing in TNA. His attorney's comments sound like something from a fictional script. The legal limit is 0.08, and he blew a 0.06. That's hardly negligible in comparison and not all that far from the limit.

Update: Angle said that he'll fight the charges in a TMZ interview. He sounded somewhat tired and worn out. Maybe he needs a break?

Mick Foley talked WWE and TNA in a recent interview. I'm split about him returning. It'd be interesting to hear him do commentary on Smackdown instead of Booker. We'll see what comes to pass on front sooner rather than later.

Part 2 of an Edge interview in Miami is up. Nice read that confirms that there's a low chance that he'll return to the ring. He, WWE, and fans in general should go on the assumption that that will remain the case.

Raw drew 29,000 viewers in Australia, ranking it at 47 there. No other wrestling shows made the top 100.

Karen Jarrett gave an in-character interview about her new role in the Knockouts Division. If she had an acting coach, some of the other talents should get with him or her.

WWE has signed a performer by the name of Flex Freeman to a developmental deal. The promotion he's coming from also produced Robbie E and Darren Young. He certainly has a look working for him. I look forward to seeing him, though things are crowded in developmental and the main roster.

The Friday replay of Smackdown got an impressive 1.2 rating. For a re-run going into Labor Day weekend, that's really solid.

Finally, Rolling Stone covered Phil Collins being at a Smackdown house show. That's pretty cool.

That's all for Tuesday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
