more from Punk and Austin, Questions on Punk vs. HBK, Air Boom, planning for a worst-case scenario, the future of the WWE tag team division, and TNA's 9/11 tribute, Sammartino update, HHH interview, Diva cleared to return, referee off suspension, Stratus interview, Flair injury, NoC dark match, and where to get the C.M. Punk ice cream bar shirt

C.M. Punk and Stone Cold Steve Austin had another brief back-and-forth on Twitter. No word on if that dream match will actually go down at any point. I'd certainly like it to.

PWInsider.com has some new questions for Sunday. Here's my look at them:
1. Hmm. Maybe. It's an interesting idea. But I don't see Michaels returning to the ring. That ship has almost certainly sailed. That would certainly be a match to see, though.

2. It's a little on the silly side, but apparently a lot of people suggested it so I see why they went with it. It does play off both competitors' personas, so it's a fair fit. Nothing amazing, but I certainly prefer it to Wind Walkers.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news and questions, starting with one on how prepared WWE is for something like a massive plane crash with all of its talent.

3. Fortunately things like that are extremely rare. The worst thing I can think of that's happened along those lines in wrestling was when a lot of the Raw crew was stranded in Europe following a volcano explosion in Iceland a few years back. They cobbled together a show with the Smackdown crew and a few others who weren't on that trip. They'd make do as well as they could with the remaining talents, and add new names to the roster from FCW and elsewhere to attempt to fill the void. That would be an extremely dire situation, so I hope it never happens.

4. It's certainly possible, given their continued expansion with overseas talent. It's a slow but steady process so far. I'd be a bit surprised if they brought back the former A-Train, but stranger things have happened.

5. I doubt any of them intended disrespect by those actions. Some people just don't go as far as others in those kinds of situations. I wouldn't read anything into it.

Bruno Sammartino is doing quite well following his heart valve replacement several months back, recovering far ahead of schedule. He's a tough guy.

Triple H was interviewed once more about "Inside Out". Pickles were mentioned again, so apparently that's this movie's "I'll go to the papers if I have to." I agree with his statements about the premise of "The Wrestler" potentially ringing true about other careers.

Maryse has been medically cleared for a return to the ring. Presumably that means she'll be returning to NXT. I wonder if she'll team with Maxine to take out Hornswoggle?

Mike Chioda is now officially off of his Wellness suspension, so he'll be back to work shortly as well.

Trish Stratus was interviewed on a number of topics recently. Good read with interesting insight into Tough Enough among other things. I like the philosophy of branding move names and the like; it definitely worked for her!

Ric Flair burst a bursa sack in his elbow in his recent match with Sting as a result of the superplex. He really shouldn't be taking any serious bumps at this stage of his life.

Daniel Bryan beat Heath Slater in the Night of Champions dark match. No Internet Champion? Are you serious, bro? Fine match choice regardless. Slater's the official "lose to other, better wrestlers" guy now.

Finally, WWE.com is selling C.M. Punk ice cream bar T-shirts. I honestly think it'll be pretty hilarious if that becomes a top seller. It's not your traditional wrestling shirt by any stretch.

That's all for Sunday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
