Questions on crazy things said, loosening Creative chains, Kharma, and Owen in the HoF, USA press release, Punk gets new tattoo, new Angle-MMA claims shot down, new Edge DVD in the works, most popular wrestlers online, WWE hires new VP of talent relations, another Mysterio surgery, WWE stock analysis, Smackdown rating hyped, "Inside Out" interview, Barrett takes over WWE.com interview, 2012 Rumble in St. Louis?, 10/11 Smackdown taping turned into Supershow w/DX, and The Miz will confront a hater,

Wednesday's news started with questions sent to PWInsider.com. Here's my look at them:
I'm almost positive that 1 was a repeat of a question that they've answered recently, so I'll skip to 2. The craziest things I can think of are all conspiracy theories people have about wrestling. There are some columnists out there who've come up with some pretty out-there stories of what supposedly goes/went on behind the scenes at WWE. They definitely don't let facts get in the way of a good story. As long as people keep reading their blogs and buying their books, they'll keep coming up with bogus "news" to report.

3. It feels like we're getting a boost in the product overall, moving away from some of the "same old, same old". I think people are stepping out of the box a bit more (see: pushing angles on Twitter, Ryder's push based off of his Internet show, R-Truth and Henry's new characters, working more with the tag team and Divas divisions, hiring some top indie prospects,etc.). I don't think we'll see a massive shift of job duties any time soon, but for now at least they seem like they're getting perhaps a little more leeway. As for unscripted promos, I'm not so sure about that one just yet. It depends on how comfortable they get with the talents being themselves and the like. There's not much to say but "stay tuned" to see if they continue this path.

4. Kim and Melina were hardly used towards the end of their runs. Currently, there's the big Divas of Doom angle that I would say is a pretty serious direction. I personally think Kharma working with the men would be fine. She was portrayed as being able to mop the floor with all of the Divas on the roster. Who the heck from that division would be able to beat her? Her return's still a long ways off, so a lot will change between now and then.

After the break, I go into the rest of Wednesday's news and questions, starting with whether Vince McMahon would allow Jeff Jarrett to attend a Hall of Fame induction of Owen Hart.
5. As they mentioned, Owen's widow could not be much more against the company than she is at present. There's almost no way they'd put him in over her objections. I know there was bad blood between Jarrett and McMahon years back, but I think they might be able to work something out where he'd appear. He made up with Bret, after all.

USA Network hyped its performance over the past few months. Obviously Raw contributed to that.

C.M. Punk got a new tattoo in Chicago. Interesting design.

Kurt Angle claimed recently that he was offered a match in UFC against Kimbo Slice. Dana White shot it down like his other similar claims. What is with Angle these past however many years?

As per Jim Ross, WWE is working on a new Edge DVD, hopefully a full career retrospective.

Someone discovered a site that compares the number of Twitter followers and Facebook fans for a lot of wrestlers. Pretty neat idea. Perhaps unsurprisingly, John Cena leads the pack by a huge margin.

WWE has hired a new Vice President of Talent Relations, a transplant from the LPGA. That will certainly be an interesting transition. I believe she'll be working under John Laurinaitis. Either way, he's staying put.

Rey Mysterio underwent a second surgery on his knee, as was deemed a possibility earlier in the week. There's no word on how much time this will add to his recovery. It'll be a good while before he returns to the ring at any rate.

Stock analysts recently took a look at WWE's stock, and deemed it worthy of a sell. They say it's "slowly dying". Ouch. WWE's got the big Network launch next year and a score of movies coming out, so the future could go either way based on how those endeavors go.

A press release was put out putting over Smackdown's rating from Friday.

Here's some behind-the-scenes footage from "Inside Out".

Wade Barrett took over an interview he was having at WWE.com, creatively insulting a number of superstars and a crew member. Funny stuff. Didn't do anything for the people he insulted to take it like morons, but it was funny "outside of character" for them.

Randy Orton said in a candid fan interview that the 2012 Royal Rumble will be in his hometown of St. Louis, though the WWE representative with him downgraded it to a "strong rumor". I'm taking that to mean that it'll probably happen, but they're not supposed to say anything about it yet.

The 10/11 Smackdown taping has been turned into a Supershow. DX will make a special appearance, though that could just be for the live crowd. The taping is in Shawn Michaels' home state of Texas, so that's likely related to him being there.

The Miz will appear on a future episode of CW's H8R, where as you might imagine he'll come face to face with someone who doesn't like him. Should be fun.

That's it for Wednesday's news. Impact Wrestling thoughts and Thursday's news post will be up later tonight.
