Chyna looks for a WWE comeback, rapper talks Flair and Dusty, Questions on Bischoff, WWE's "Union", and why WWE isn't what some of us want it to be, Raw retapes, Lesnar talks WWE '12 and more, WWE on Google+, Shane Douglas talks TNA, Flair and more, Hardy conference call, Nash before Raw, Punk interview, Styles update, Smackdown dark match, Owen match not on KOTR DVD, rib on Regal, TNA-OVW update, Raw rating, Angle court update, Foley addresses a UK crowd, Cena goes after Rock, and Nash returns to the ring

Chyna wrote a legal letter to Vince McMahon seeking to return to WWE. I think that there are two chances of that happening: slim and none. Given her not-so-distant past, WWE should stay away.

The rapper who recently used some of Ric Flair's lines in one of his songs talked about growing up watching the Horsemen and Dusty Rhodes. A good deal of profanity in the piece.

Next up: Into the lion den of PWInsider.com's questions.
1. And this is why they don't take internet fans seriously. Fans were complaining that TNA had buried Roode and such, and now Roode's the World Champion feuding with James Storm. The story has a good deal of heat to it. If anything, all that build as a babyface makes his heel turn better because he couldn't get it done when playing by the rules. Note that this doesn't mean I'm 100% behind the decision.

2. I wished it would have happened! They had a good deal of potential there, but for whatever reason didn't run with it. I would have loved a company-wide storyline pitting those who agree with them (and wanted Laurinaitis in charge) against those who would begrudgingly accept Triple H's leadership (after possibly being convinced by Cena/Sheamus/Punk, etc..)

After the break I go into the rest of the day's questions and news. Next up, who are the people in the front row at the Impact Wrestling Zone?
3. You're not the only one who's noticed! I guess I'm ok with it as a tactic to show that their audience isn't the stereotypical "neckbeard" or "redneck" or whatever. Of course, it's not as important as having a good in-ring product and all that kind of thing.

4. I've heard that Stephanie can be similar to Vince, but I don't know if that extends to their humor. As for how "bad" the product is (Which not all wrestling sites agree on, for the record. I generally like it other than the commentary and feuds related to it), Creative isn't booking the show for the news sites/dirt sheets and their readers. Even the most liberal estimates of that segment of the audience put it as only one piece of the puzzle, dwarfed by the less "hardcore" fans. That's why it's often not what that part of the audience thinks it should be. I don't picture that philosophy changing any time in the near future, if at all. If ratings regularly dip into the mid-2s, then maybe they'll make huge changes to what's on TV, but until then they'll likely continue to mostly ignore that part of the fanbase. If WWE's "Rome" is burning, it's quite a slow burn and there's still a lot of it left based on their most recent earnings report.

5. Whoa whoa whoa... Muppets aren't puppets. That aside, it might have been bad for Suvivor Series, but it could be good for WrestleMania. Building Cena up big means he's more believable of a threat against Rock. As for Punk, he's a Muppets fan for one, so he might have gotten a kick out of it. His character's getting a good deal of mic time and focus, there's more wrestling, and both Zack Ryder and the Divas' division are getting pushed more than they were when he was re-signed. He's stated that he's pushing for those things behind the scenes. So I don't think he's as upset as some fans are.

A number of segments were re-taped for Raw.

Brock Lesnar was interviewed by Paul Heyman about a number of things including WWE to promote his appearance in their upcoming game. This is how you build buzz. WWE stars should reply to the worked shoot. I'd love to see him get back in the WWE. Man was a BEAST.

WWE is now on Google+. I wonder how many times that'll be mentioned on TV in the coming weeks. Hey, if it gets people watching and spending money on the product, it's fine by me.

Tatanka talked about a number of topics spanning his career.

Shane Douglas had a number of negative things to say about Dixie Carter and Ric Flair in a recent interview. Ouch.

Jeff Hardy took part in a conference call to promote TNA, recapped here. Good read, especially the last page. I agree that to some degree wrestlers have to find their own ways and styles to get over, but good advice certainly couldn't hurt.

WWE has footage of an interview with Kevin Nash before Raw. I like these things. Very realistic feeling.

C.M. Punk had an interview with a New Zealand gaming website. Hard to believe that he was on the indie scene for 8 years before WWE picked him up.

AJ Styles posted a photo of his injured ankle. That doesn't look so good.

Justin Gabriel defeated local wrestler Lionheart for the pre-show dark match for Smackdown. Lionheart once worked a TNA dark match in the UK as well, so it's possible that either company could come calling at some point.

Sean Waltman tweeted that his match with Owen Hart in the 1994 King of the Ring tournament won't be included on the upcoming KOTR DVD due to legal issues with the Hart estate (Owen's ex-wife). That sucks.

William Regal wrestled this week on WWE Superstars, and was brought out to his old "Real Man's Man" theme. That song (and its video) was either one of the worst or best themes ever, depending on your sense of humor. Back then, he was "Steven" Regal in a hardhat and plaid shirt. His current gimmick's almost certainly a better fit and definitely more fitting.

TNA's relationship with OVW came about because of Bruce Prichard, who correctly noted that a number of successful WWE stars came through that system. He joined a number of executives (including Jeff Jarrett and Eric Bischoff) in checking the place out a few months back. TNA will send some of its younger talents there to work its TV and house shows to gain further training and seasoning, and any new signings they have could report there for the same. Other than who TNA sends there for training, OVW is free to do whatever it wants in regards to working with other promotions (ROH), and its own signings and releases. This is a fantastic move by TNA to build towards the future.

Raw did a 2.9 on Monday night. Of note is that the show was taped and it went up against an NFL game that pulled in a 12.3. Regardless, a disappointing number. WWE should look at each segment's viewership and see what is and isn't working. Hopefully that would mean (at least) a change in commentary and limiting or replacing Laurinaitis.

Kurt Angle entered a plea of No Contest to his reckless driving charge in Virginia. He was fined $1,500. Case closed. I certainly hope this is the end of this kind of thing from Angle, but I have my doubts.

Mick Foley addressed the crowd after a UK house show, and John Cena took some shots at The Rock.

Kevin Nash returned to the ring at that same house show, teaming with Awesome Truth in a loss to John Cena, Kofi Kingston, and Zack Ryder. Talk about your clashes in styles and performance levels.

That's all for Tuesday's news. More to come later. Thanks for reading!
