TNA has canceled their South American tour because of contractual difficulties with the event organizers. Well that sucks. AJ Styles was profiled in Chile to promote it.

Daniels was interviewed, talking up being a heel. Hopefully that doesn't backfire and make those followers hate the person rather than the character. The character doing it is great, but there's kind of that question of "is he really a jerk or is he just messing with us?"

Paul Heyman discussed Stone Cold Steve Austin's run in ECW with WWE.com. Paul Heyman working with WWE again is surreal. Can there please be more where this came from?

The Miz and R-Truth discussed their strategy for Survivor Series. HERE'S how you do the "shaky cam backstage interview" thing, TNA. There's potential for these two as big heels if they look good at the PPV.

Gail Kim talked about TNA coming to the UK with The Sun.

Up next, PWInsider.com's questions:
1. Losing to Orton, probably. Then WWE will wonder why he's not getting over as a top heel and keep him below main event level. Rinse and repeat with the next guy getting pushed. I hope I'm wrong about that, as he's shown great potential to be a top player in the company.

After the break, I look at the rest of their questions and the rest of the day's news, starting with another "turn John Cena heel" question.
2.

No. Why take your most popular babyface and merch seller (remember the company's target audience) and turn him heel? Especially when he's got Miz and R-Truth to play off of as a babyface. Hogan by that point was supposedly not as big of a draw or top player as he used to be and needed a reboot. Cena's still doing mainstream appearances and the like, and is the go-to guy for interviews and appearances because he's a face. When Little Jimmys stop wearing CeNation merch and the main contingent of fans they're shooting for want something different, then maybe. But for now, keep him face.

Nothing to add to 3, so on to 4. To add to their list, I know that at one point between Triple H and Stone Cold, there was the WWE, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Titles. I think D'Lo Brown did the same thing as Jericho and Angle, and I'm sure there are tons more. Oh, and of course, Eric Young was TV Champion and "World" Champion simultaneously in his own mind.

5. Karen Jarrett doesn't seem like someone you want to throw out from ringside given her position in the company. But yes, having more than one distraction spot can be overkill (and was then).

WWE is looking for a VP of Digital and Social Media. Obviously this is a big area for them.

WWE has applied to trademark "WWE Countdown" and "WWE Action Center" for their upcoming network, and also a number of new logos.

John Cena apologized for having to pull out of his GameDay appearance.

TNA is asking a number of talents who aren't regularly featured to relocate to OVW, as expected. Jesse Neal turned down the request and will soon be finishing up with the company.

Update: Neal clarified his status. I can see how he'd be possibly insulted by the request, but I don't blame TNA for making it.

WWE is asking fans to vote for what the WrestleMania XXVIII shirt should look like.

The Divas' Championship match at Survivor Series will now be a Lumberjill match with the other Divas surrounding the ring.

Michelle McCool is scheduled for a live chat on her website discussing her post-WWE career on 11/23 at 6 p.m. EST.

Shawn Michaels and Sean Waltman weighed in on the Nash/HHH rivalry. Pretty good kayfabe article, though it makes you wonder where they've been since Mania. Why haven't they tried to smooth things over?

Here's episode 40 of Z! True Long Island Story. I think/hope they'll do an angle on Sunday where he ends up getting the match. They could also write Morrison off then if need be. How many night lights has he sold? Though I have to admit he's a heck of a breakdancer. I liked all the plugs he put in there.

Here's IGN's review of WWE '12. Not too shabby. Seems like the changes were for the better.

WWE's "Informer" dished out a few news stories, some confirmed elsewhere and some possibly purely kayfabe. His columns were a lot of fun back in the day.

Former Tough Enough competitor Ivelisse Velez made her debut at the most recent FCW tapings. She will appear on the 12/18 edition of the show. I remember her, but not well enough to get much of a feeling of how I think she'll do there.

In other FCW news, Layla will be appearing at their 11/23 show, presumably for a signing since as far as I know she's still injured.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come tomorrow, along with the Superstars/Impact Wrestling report.  Thanks for reading!
