TNA Turning Point preview

Tonight TNA puts on another PPV tonight, with 5 title matches and a number of grudge matches on the agenda. Everyone has their own take on how the show should go down. Read on for mine.

Honestly, I don't have much enthusiasm for this card. That's ok, though, because I don't think there are many people who do. It took me some time to come up with what I think they should do to improve their stories and such, but I think the following ideas are good enough as far as setting up where the storylines should go from here.

Keep in mind as always that I'm not necessarily looking to have the best wrestling. I'm trying to build feuds. Also I'm using people who don't get used a lot, because why hire them if you're not going to use them?

Robbie E "gets something in his eye", and as the referee checks on him, Robbie T (I'm assuming that's his official name now) hits his finisher on Eric Young. Robbie E then picks up the scraps to become the new champion. Young gets a rematch with Ronnie in his corner (which ends in chaos), and we get Robbie E vs. Ronnie at the next PPV. Hey, might as well get the most out of his 2 remaining appearances.

Austin Aries and Kid Kash get the decided advantage over Sorensen, but come into conflict over who should pin him. Amidst this disagreement, Sorensen shoves Kash into Aries to knock him out of the ring, then rolls up Kash for the win. Kash wants a rematch against the "fluke kid" and Aries has a guaranteed rematch in his contract, so the feud goes from there.

Velvet and Gail fight to a stalemate until ODB and Jackie attack them both. They resent that Gail and Madison are now in Karen's favor more than they are, and they haven't been seen since being signed to contracts. So, they want revenge. Gail and Madison feud with ODB and Jackie, and Velvet is put in a handicap feud against Winter and Angelina Love.

Ink, Inc. wins the titles when Rosita's interference goes awry. Toxxin spears Sarita for the win. Mexican America blames the loss on Sarita's facial injuries and the stipulation of the match, so the feud continues without the women. At least until the next PPV, because it's about time to move on.

Daniels beats RVD thanks to the no-DQ stipulation.  Maybe he uses a different tool this time?

Abyss pins Scott Steiner in the tag match. I'm not expecting 5 stars in this one.

Jeff Hardy beats Jeff Jarrett clean.

Matt Morgan and Crimson slug it out until Samoa Joe announces that he's kidnapped Crimson's brother and will beat him senseless unless Crimson saves him. There's a man in Amazing Red's gear with a hood obscuring his face that Joe's threatening. Crimson goes after Joe, but it's an ambush. It's not Amazing Red in the hood. They beat up Crimson, and Morgan refuses to take the countout win, so it's ruled a no contest.

From there, Joe brings in an "old friend" of his to deal with Morgan and Crimson, especially the latter. It's the man who ended his own undefeated streak (and injured Crimson), Kurt Angle. Joe joins Angle in trying to rebound Immortal after their losses of the night.

Bobby Roode finishes off the injured AJ Styles after a number of ankle-  and leg-based submissions. Once everyone has the medical ok, we eventually get to Roode vs. Storm vs. Styles vs. Kazarian for the title. Roode vs. Kazarian until they're cleared.

And that's how I'd do it. I'll be back later to cover how it actually goes down. Thanks for reading!
