Punk-Jericho, Questions on Maryse-Miz, Knockouts vs. Divas booking, Undertaker, and HHH in power, Variety looks at Muppets on Raw, update on WWE Network and YouTube, Bearer interview, more Rock-Cena on Twitter, Final Resolution and Garett Bischoff updates, names absent from WWE '12, Kelly in Maxim, predictions on WWE stock, a look at some WWE action figures, Finlay and Ronnie from Jersey Shore interviews, Sheamus to present, new grudges DVD in the works, Scottish wrestlers to get tryouts, Bryan looking for beards, James Storm health update, next WWE Network show poll, Smackdown rating, Edge and Miz interviews, press release on Chyna YouShoot, JR update, and what happened after Raw

C.M. Punk took a shot at Chris Jericho at Ringside Fest. I guess the pipe bomb thing works outside of arenas.

Update: Jericho fired back. He kind of makes a point. Apparently we might see a program between them when Jericho returns down the line. That would be fantastic. Both men are solid in all aspects of their performances. I wish we had more like them.

On to a look at PWInsider.com's questions:
1. He was with her at her "release party" so hopefully he's taking it as well as she is? I know that Charlie Hasas worked with WWE while his wife Jackie Gayda was in TNA, so it's not insurmountable. This seems like they just didn't have anything for her rather than anything to do with him.

2. Hmm, I wouldn't say that they blow WWE away on it, but they do use more women in important roles. I'd say that WWE's mostly doing well with the DoD/SoS angle and we usually get a good Divas match on NXT and/or Superstars, but they're not big parts of Raw and Smackdown (like the Knockouts are on Impact Wrestling).

3. At home in Texas as far as I know. I also think that we'll see him again, but there's been so little in the way of news on him that there's really not much telling when that will be. Mania seems like the obvious choice, though. Would that theoretically be his last match? Time will tell.

There's not much to say that would add to 4, so after the break I once more explain the WWE COO angle and the rest of the day's news.
5. I'll try my best to explain this again. HHH was made the COO and (also) had direct control of Raw in a GM-like capacity. After the walkout, the Board removed his direct control of Raw and left Smackdown to Long without HHH's influence. He's still the COO, but the Board can overrule him or block him from making a certain decision (like, say, firing Laurinaitis). Being COO doesn't give him total control. He can just do with the Board allows him to.

Variety had a piece about the Muppets being on Raw. Good stuff. It's sports-entertainment, people!

WWE's deal with YouTube will likely feature original content in addition to things highlighting the WWE Network. The Network is still planned to be a traditional cable/satellite channel.

Paul Bearer was interviewed. That picture of him with blond hair's pretty weird to see. Wait. If he's 57, wouldn't that make him only about 13 when Kane was born? No wonder we haven't seen Undertaker's mom on-screen!

John Cena and The Rock had some more back and forth on Twitter before Raw. Fun stuff.

Bobby Roode will be on the poster for TNA Final Resolution, so maybe things are looking better for him than some seem to think?

Garett Bischoff has an official website now. Apparently he'll be a big part of Impact Wrestling in the weeks to come. I hope he's worth all the attention.

Bret Hart and Chris Jericho will not be in WWE '12. I didn't really expect Jericho anyway, but I am a bit surprised about Hart.

TNA has hired a new PR executive. I wish her the best and hope she does a good job.

Kelly Kelly will be part of a special edition of Maxim magazine.

Some stock analysts have given their predictions on WWE's earnings, which will be released on Thursday. It will be very interesting to see the numbers for the last 3 months. Is the company doing better than last year or not?

Mya, who performed at The Rock's birthday party on Raw, mentioned the experience in an interview.

Here's a look at some WWE figures shown off at Ringside Fest. I especially like that Cody Rhodes has a paper bag.

Finlay talked WWE, TNA, and more with The Sun. I'd like to see him work with some of the younger guys in TNA, and feud with some of the brawlers there as well. But, it's not a huge missed opportunity.

Ronnie from Jersey Shore discussed working with TNA and more. The article includes a pictorial spoiler. I hope the media coverage works out for the company.

Sheamus will be a presenter at the MTV European Music Awards. That's cool.

WWE's working on another installment for Wrestling's Greatest Grudges. It's going to be hard to top HBK/Bret.

A number of wrestlers from Scotland's ICW will get WWE tryouts next week as well as work in extra roles.

Daniel Bryan will be posting pictures of fans growing beards in support of him not shaving until cashing in his MITB briefcase. Ok, then... well it is interacting with the WWE Universe in a positive way.

James Storm underwent a CT scan and MRI after a possible concussion at the recent Impact Wrestling taping. Talk about a crappy break from life.

Update: He might miss up to 2 months. That really sucks. Just when he thought he was in, life pulls him back out. I wish him a speedy recovery. That's going to be tough for TNA to book around I think.

WWE is looking for a name for its upcoming SportsCenter-like show. There's no way I'm going to be able to watch all of this stuff. Good idea, but I'm not crazy about the names. Why not just WWE Center?

Smackdown did a 1.96 rating. What happened there? That's a pretty noticeable drop.

Edge was interviewed in conjunction with WWE '12's release.

The Miz was interviewed ahead of Raw.

Here's the non-PG press release on Chyna's Youshoot DVD. Don't think I'll be watching that one. Some things are better left unknown.

Jim Ross tweeted about missing Raw. I'm ready for this one to be over.

After Raw, John Cena and C.M. Punk beat The Miz and R-Truth. The big faces going over is always what the fans are left with it seems.

That's all for Monday's news. More to come later tonight. Thanks for reading!
