First up for Monday's news is a query:
1. I haven't heard anything about Homicide possibly going to WWE in quite some time. I believe he's presently under contract to the Urban Wrestling Federation and wouldn't be able to go there. He would be a natural fit for Hunico's faction with Primo and Epico.

Sin Cara is expected to be out for 6-9 months following his knee injury at Survivor Series. Another unfortunate setback in the career of the Mexican sensation. Very sad that we'll have to wait so long to see him continue his rise in WWE. I think he could have a pretty big upside in the years to come.

After Survivor Series, The Rock thanked the WWE crowd for supporting him, declaring that night the best of his WWE career. He then shook a lot of hands at ringside, including those of the announcers and staffers. Cool to hear.

Update: Here's video. Ahhh, good stuff. Man can damn sure work a crowd.

Also after that show, Alberto Del Rio addressed his loss to C.M. Punk. Cool enough.

The Rock's return was covered by the New York Daily News.

On to my look at PWInsider.com's questions:
1 and 2 are just for them, but for 3 It could be argued that it would make sense for him to use that leg, because he would use the stronger one to walk on. He wouldn't want to hobble into those moves. I haven't met enough people to give a qualified answer to 4, so after the break I look at The Rock's return and the rest of the day's news.

5. For that to be true, Rock would have had to have known he was getting a spot in G.I. Joe well over a year before he actually got it. All of the media appearances where he hasn't mentioned the movie would all have to be part of his grand design. Rock's a pretty smart guy, but I don't know if he'd be able to pull off that level of a conspiracy. Or that he'd want to. Is it really so hard to believe that he wanted to come back for wrestling-related reasons?

Mick Foley, Betty Skaaland, The Rock's mother, Judah Friedlander, Ariel Helwani, members of the New York Yankess and Mets management teams, and This Is Hell's Travis Reily and Rick Jimenez were all in attendance at Survivor Series. Quite the list. I hope they enjoyed the show.

Update: ESPN's Michelle Beadle was also at the event. She tweets about the product fairly regularly.

The Chicago Tribune hasn't been too happy with WWE's booking lately. Their loss. See also: complaining  about shows you don't watch.

WWE has quite a bit of Sin Cara merchandise scheduled for release. No word if they'll change their timing of that with his injury. They also have lawn gnomes. I hope someone buys those, because on the surface it sounds facepalm-worthy. C.M. Punk has a cup now, but no ice cream bar. I never got to try one of those and now I'm curious. I wonder how many fans will drink alcohol from the straight-edger's cup?

Mason Ryan was interviewed ahead of Survivor Series. Honestly, it was kind of a boring listen. Make your own jokes there.

Here's an analysis of the #SurvivorSeries Twitter references. Something tells me that's more than WWE.com and WWEShop.com got.

Mick Foley will appear as Mankind when he's on "30 Rock". That could be fun.

USA Today talked about the release of WWE '12.

The mayor of Lynn, MA wrestled for charity. How great is that?

JBL was asked to be a part of Survivor Series, but was unable to wrestle then. I didn't really see a need for it, but whatever. If it would have been good for business and got someone more over, I suppose it would have been fine by me. I enjoyed his gimmick.

Seekingalpha.com didn't have good words on the WWE stock. The company certainly has its work ahead of it in bouncing back in the court of popular opinion.

Here are some upcoming WWE superstar appearances at FCW. Always cool to meet the stars.

C.M. Punk had some less-than-kind words about The Rock's return. Pipebomb!

Speaking of Punk, here's video of him from before Survivor Series. Cabana better get hired after all of these plugs. It doesn't get much more "sports entertainment" than him, and I mean that in a good way.

Smackdown got a 2.02 on Friday. Cool enough, but it could certainly be a good deal better going into a major PPV.

Here's a list of most-talked about shows on social media from last week. Not bad at all.

Kevin Nash is no longer being advertised for live events on WWE's website. Hopefully that means they're wrapping up his storyline sooner rather than later and he becomes a smaller part of the company.

WWE has posted a job opening for a Rights and Clearances Manager in relation to the upcoming WWE Network.

A member of the Cleveland Cavaliers' video production team has been hired by WWE. If the video included on that website is any indication, he'll be doing good stuff for the company. Very slick stuff.

The latest edition of Guest Booker involves Terry Taylor. That's a must-watch for me, and I know very little about the UWF. Here's the trailer.

The Raw dark match featured Epico and Primo defeating Titus O'Neil and Percy Watson, which may or may not be an indication that we'll be seeing more of the above on the main roster.

WWE put out quite the unique video promoting... something for 1/2/12. The "it" must be the speculation this is going to make. Count me as intrigued.

WWE '12 is the most pre-ordered game in the company's history. That's very good news for them.

C.M. Punk's "Teen Wolf" story was apparently a rib on Cliff Compton, the former Domino. Some in WWE are pushing to bring him back there. With all the buzz around him lately (and TNA also eying him), that might be a good move.

WWE ran an angle after Smackdown teasing a relationship between Daniel Bryan and AJ. I think we could be seeing the latter grow into a pretty likeable babyface.

Quite a few WWE items are on the Mashable Awards list of finalists.

Finally, here's another look at the amazing Kane vignette from Raw. Someone's getting a reboot it looks like. I'm very ok with this.

That's all for Monday's news. Many apologies for the late post. More to come later. Thanks for reading!
