Impact Wrestling post-show, Interviews with Kim, Kelly, Tara, and Kofi, Items announced for Impact Wrestling, ex-WWE star responds to being called a turkey, no more TNA house shows in 2011?, Punk talks, Hemme talks WWE, Laurinaitis discusses his shirt, WWE's social media strategy praised, and Z! TLIS #41

Here's the post-show for the Thanksgiving edition of Impact Wrestling.

Gail Kim gave an interview covering her WWE departure and signing to TNA. The WWE situation is quite disappointing.

Kelly Kelly gave an interview promoting WWE '12. It's cool that she played video games when she was younger.

Tara gave a lengthy interview with Diva-Dirt. One of my all-time favorite female workers.

Kofi Kingston also gave an interview about WWE '12. You might be noticing a trend here...

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's news, starting with what's been announced for the next edition of Impact Wrestling.

Sting will deal with Bobby Roode after his recent actions, which should be pretty good given how on both have been in their roles lately.
Karen Jarrett will have "major punishment" for the Knockouts, which I'm kind of split on.
Robbie E will defend the TV Title against Rob Van Dam, who has quite a history with the ECW version of that title. This could do a big deal either way for Robbie's character.
Mexican America vs. Ink, Inc. vs. Devon and D'Angelo Dinero for the #1 Contendership to Crimson and Matt Morgan. I think the champions would steamroll over the first two pairings, so it looks like we're in for a clash of two teams with issues. Where's the British Invasion?

Former WWE performer Kizarny responded to an article on the company's website looking at "turkeys" in the ring. Note: non-PG language. The article was rather insulting. His gimmick was odd, but I don't think it was worth that level of a "burial" from them. I think he might have really overanalyzed the situation.

TNA reportedly doesn't have any more house shows until the end of the year. I'm not really sure what to make of that unless it's giving everyone a reduced workload for a while. There has been talk of making the house shows more like the TV product, so that could be a factor as well.

C.M. Punk talked about a number of things in another good interview for WWE '12. If only more performers were as "out of the box" and interesting as he is. Cool guy. I loved the little swipes at Austin.

Christy Hemme talked about her time in WWE. Talk about someone getting a superpush. It did sell Playboys, though, and she played her role well.

John Laurinaitis discussed his new T-shirt. A number of inside references there. When WWE rleeases someone from their contract, the release on the website usually says that the company wishes the performer the best of luck in their future endeavors. Since Laurinaitis is EVP of Talent Relations, it makes sense for that to be associated with him. As for the skateboard reference, in his wrestling days, he was a member of the Dynamic Dudes, who came to the ring with skateboards. Wrestling's pretty weird sometimes, especially when you go back to that timeframe.

Techcrunch.com has positive things to say about WWE's use of social media. It is pretty cool that they ise it to promote storylines outside of the TV shows and PPVs. Ryder's gimmick vastly precedes "Jersey Shore", however.

Speaking of Ryder, here's episode #41 of Z! True Long Island Story. Jimmy Hart kind of creeps me out. No idea what the Iced 3 thing is. Entertaining stuff as always. Where was Ziggler?

That's all for Friday's news. More to come later in the day when I finally catch up. Thanks for reading!
