Raw dark matches, Ryder's story continues, Questions on Benoit, playing ribs on wrestlers, the Wellness policy being changed, and McIntyre, Hogan takes shot at TNA roster, Hardy out of jail, Rumble ticket info, Bellas on TMZ, THQ seeks feedback on WWE 12, notes on upcoming TNA tapings and PPVs, Smackdown and Impact Wrestling ratings, Maryse interview, Orton promotes Smackdown, former Creative member and comedian passes away, and WWE writes off John Morrison former

The dark match after Raw was Big Show vs. Mark Henry for the World Championship with Booker T. as the referee. Henry got himself DQ'd via belt shot; Del Rio and Miz then assisted him in attacking Show. Cena and Punk made the save, then won the resulting 6-man tag.

Zack Ryder was involved in a backstage skit with Eve and Mae Young for WWE.com. Good thing it stayed there. Yikes.

For Tuesday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I really don't think there's any new ground to cover on this issue at this point. Some see him almost entirely as an amazing worker, some see him almost entirely as a murderer, and some see him as a combination of the two in varying degrees. It's a personal decision for everyone.

I don't keep up with ROH (mainly due to time concerns and their shows not being easily accessible), so I'll move to 3. That indeed sounds like a rib, but I haven't heard any specifics. As potentially amusing as such things are (William Regal on Superstars a few weeks back), they don't serve any purpose as far as getting a character over, etc.. If it's goofing around before a show or something, that's one thing, but potentially confusing so many fans isn't worth it from a business perspective.

After the break, I go into the rest of the day's questions and news, starting with an alternative for failing the Wellness Policy.

4. The anti-bullying campaign is a different story, but I agree that that sounds like a good idea. I don't know about deterring drug use, but I would like to see that happen. Whatever gets the wrestlers in question clean and keeps others off of that sort of thing is something to aspire to.

5. There's not too much to add to this. Details were kind of sketchy. Here's a little more.

Hulk Hogan tweeted a rather umm... less-than-ringing endorsement of the TNA roster, though he did speak highly of Garett Bischoff. The latter seems to have knowledge of the basics at least.

After agreeing to return to rehab to complete treatment, Matt Hardy was released from jail after his bond was reduced from $1 million to $100,000. Should he fail again, he'll be right back there with a bond of $250,000. I hope for his sake this latest break works in his favor, but I have my doubts.

Here's ticket information for the 2012 Royal Rumble. Looks like they're back to the 30-man version for now. Fine by me.

TMZ has photos of the Bella Twins from Tribute to the Troops.

THQ has a survey looking for feedback on WWE '12. I've heard pretty good things.

TNA is planning to announce some "on the road" TV tapings in the early months of 2012. The first 3 PPVs of the year will be in Orlando. In the future, I won't post about PPVs being announced as taping inside of Orlando, since that isn't really "news" (since it's the norm).

The 11/25 Smackdown got a 1.89 rating. I imagine that the proximity to Thanksgiving might have had an effect on viewing.

The 11/24 Impact Wrestling pulled in a 0.99 rating. Of course, that was on Thanksgiving night. They've done well on the holiday in the past, but this year that didn't hold true. Really not a bad loss of viewers for a holiday so major.

Maryse talked about her last run in WWE and the future. I agree that she was good in her role and worked well with DiBiase. The latter is growing on me as a face, and I think can do well without the snobby persona he had that she was a part of. I understand her decision and continue to wish her the best in her life after WWE.

Randy Orton gave an interview to promote the 11/29 Smackdown taping. I recommend going to one of those (of any brand) at least once. I don't think he should have referred to Daniel Bryan under his real name. Concerts don't promote Paul Hewson; they promote Bono. This is fundamentally similar to me.

Comedian Patrice O'Neal, who briefly worked with WWE Creative years back, passed away at 41 from complications due to a stroke. That's sad to hear. Very funny, naturally talented guy.

Update: Chris Jericho tweeted about his passing, and Welovesoaps.net posted a story with part of an interview about his time in WWE.

Finally, WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis informed John Morrison that he will "not be signed to a new contract", effectively ending his WWE run. No word on exactly when his contract is officially up, but he's said to have finished up on Raw.

That's all for Tuesday's news. More to come at some point after NXT, which will also be up later in the day. Thanks for reading!
