Christian returns to the ring and other European tour notes, Questions on a new nWo, retiring titles, Johnny Rodz, storage, and the Hall of Fame, Miz in GED ad, when Jericho's current run will end, Brazilian house show canceled, more on Bourne, Foley/Ambrose update, Edge's contract expiring, and WWE signs an indie name but not Miss USA

Christian returned to the ring for WWE at the 4/18 live event.

Speaking of those live events, William Regal returned home from the tour because of a family emergency and was replaced by Brodus Clay. I hope all's well with the wily Brit.

For my take on the 4/19 PWInsider.com questions:
1. I don't really see it. Otunga's not an "outsider" for one. The time for nWo comparisons, to me, was when Miz and R-Truth were wreaking havoc and being fired.

2. Supposedly HHH wants to rebuild the tag team division, but that hasn't gotten especially far if that's the case. I'd be a little surprised if they retired a title that's always been a part of the company (without replacing it with something else like they did the Women's Title). That being said, they're certainly not high up on the company's priority list. Look at how big of a deal the first TLC match was vs. where Primo and Epico were slotted at this year's Mania.

They've got 3 and 4 pretty covered, so after the break I'll go into the ever-popular "who should go into the Hall of Fame?" and the rest of the day's news.
5. Replace Tommy Dreamer and Paul Heyman with Miss Elizabeth and Cyndi Lauper (or Mr. T) and you've got a list I like. Those two might have their place some day but I don't think we're there just yet.

The Miz will be part of an ad encouraging people to get their GED.

Chris Jericho will go back to touring with Fozzy before Summerslam according to an interview with Metal Injection. That's a shame from a WWE fan perspective, but he wasn't going to stay around forever regardless. It will be interesting to see what happens between now and then with one of the most talented superstars I've ever seen.

Update: Speaking of Jericho, he received three staples in the back of his head because of a match with C.M. Punk. Ouch. Hopefully it was just a freak accident and not something unnecessarily unsafe.

Update: He noted in a WWE Magazine interview that he could very well leave and come back later if he feels like he can still perform on a high level. I and a lot of others would certainly appreciate him doing so.

WWE canceled a 5/23 Brazilian house show.

In an update to an earlier story, Evan Bourne has noted that his foot should be healed by November, but the jury's still out on whether that's an accurate assessment.

The recent Mick Foley blog about Dean Ambrose was 100% storyline. That makes sense, as Ambrose was praised for his backstage demeanor months back.

Edge's WWE contract is set to expire on 5/1, barring a turn of events after 4/19. His in-ring career remains over, but he could end up making appearances with other promotions.

Brodie Lee, of CHIKARA and DGUSA fame, has signed a WWE developmental deal and is scheduled to be in FCW shortly.

As of 4/19, Rima Fakih has not been signed to WWE despite claims that she would do so and appearing at WrestleMania AXXESS.

Finally, despite being "fired" on NXT, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks worked a live event on 4/19. As did NXT's Percy Watson.

That's all for the news from 4/19. More to come when I'm able. Thanks for reading!
