Haskins talks WWE, NY Times corrects Angle error, Dana White talks Brock-WWE, Questions on WWE releases, new debuts, heat on Rock, going viral, and Jericho smashing Punk, concern over WWE relases, Gabriel renews visa, James Storm update, Tough Enough winner released, Jimmy Hart, Martel, and Okerlund interviews, 4/20 Smackdown rating, 4/23 dark match, and what happened after the 4/23 Raw

Dennis Haskins, best known as Mr. Belding from "Saved by the Bell", talked about WWE topics.

The New York Times issued a correction on referring to Kurt Angle as a WWE wrestler.

Dana White talked about Brock Lesnar returning to WWE.

For my take on the 4/23 PWInsider.com questions:
1. I don't see why not, since it's practically a ritual now. It just might not be in Spring this year.

2. I do think they should pace themselves with returns/debuts so fans can soak the characters in individually, even though I'm personally ready for some new faces getting pushed.

3. It'd be tough to argue with their answer here.

After the break, I go into everything else from 4/23, starting with a question on capitalizing on buzz.

 4. Very well argued with a good analogy. I agree. WWE puts way too much emphasis on things trending on Twitter.

5. I loved it. It gives the feud a personal component that a lot of feuds lack.

There are a lot of concerned WWE performers, as releases are expected soon. It might be time to drop a few people they're not using to make room for some fresh faces. They need to choose wisely, though.

Justin Gabriel renewed his working visa while recovering from his injury.

James Storm was kept off TNA house shows to sell the angle that he's dealing with his loss from Lockdown. I'm interested to see where they're going with that.

Andy Leavine, who won Tough Enough, was released from WWE following a stint in FCW as Kevin Hackman. So the whole season was for nothing? Great.

Update: Bill DeMott commented on the release. As did Andy himself.

Jimmy Hart was interviewed about a number of topics.

As was Rick Martel.

And "Mean" Gene Okerlund.

The Smackdown from 4/20 got a 1.83. Possibly fan backlash from Bryan losing the World Title?

The dark match from the 4/23 Raw taping had new Smackdown star Antonio Cesaro defeating JTG.
I can't wait to see what he does in a WWE ring.

After the 4/23 Raw went off the air, John Cena and C.M. Punk beat Chris Jericho and Kane. Then, the locker room sang "Happy Birthday" to Cena.

That's all for the news from 4/23. 4/24's news is coming up next. Thanks for reading!
