Questions on Angle turning face, Universal Studios, the Olympics, and Divas, Hogan wants TNA live, TNA house show profiled, and a "squash" match gets someone noticed

Not much news on tap for 4/21, but it starts with my take on PWInsider.com's questions:
1. Characters change over time. I'll judge Angle's face turn on what I see the character do from here. If it works, it's the right idea. If not, it isn't. TNA has been inconsistent with a lot of characters, though.

2. This isn't quite the same thing, but I do know that there are certain regulations they have to follow there that they wouldn't elsewhere. They can't do anything with fire, for instance, and I'm fairly sure they can't charge for tickets.

Nothing to add to 3, but for 4. Not very good. As they alluded to, he's taken a lot of bumps in his decade-plus of wrestling and that would have ultimately really played against him.

Not much to add to 5 either. They just have other priorities, as they generally do. When they think they can draw ratings and money with the Divas somehow, they'll use them more. If fans want to see more Divas, they should buy more Diva merch and tune in for more Diva matches, etc..

After the break, I go into everything else from 4/21, starting with what Hulk Hogan thinks would improve TNA.
Hulk Hogan is pushing for TNA to go live every week, Tweeting that that would solve "75%" of the company's problems. Yeah.... no. I don't think enough fans care about live vs. taped for it to warrant the big increase in costs. A good taped show trumps a bad live one. Focus on making the show better in other areas first. Going live can come later.

The Miami Herald looked at a recent TNA live event. Sounds good. Note which big stars weren't on the show yet are regular parts of TV.

C.M. Punk will sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" for the Cubs on 5/8.

The wrestler who lost to Ryback on the 4/20 Smackdown was interviewed/profiled in the UK. If he ends up a future World Champion, that interview will be important. Otherwise, it's good Smackdown got some attention (even if they misspelled Ryback).

That's all for the 4/21 news. 4/22's news is up next and more to come when I'm able. Thanks for reading!
