Questions on attacking management, Japanese wrestlers, squash matches, WWE/UFC crossover, and pushing Tensai, more on Heyman in WWE, Miz Q&A, Lawler interview, 5/7 Raw rating, 5/8 Smackdown taping dark match, and a note on Bound For Glory 2012

For my take on the 5/8 PWInsider.com questions:
1. They always explained that management would be out to  get revenge somehow. Like HHH setting out to beat Orton for instance.

2. Tensai's not supposed to be Japanese. Just someone who went to Japan and picked up tools of the trade there. Otherwise, I agree with them. They have a tendency to lump Japanese wrestlers together (kind of like they do with Samoans) and push them like "Japanese wrestler #5" instead of getting behind a talent for something other than their ethnicity.

3. What they said. I'm more than ok with building people up with squash matches against people not on the main roster.

After the break, I hit everything else from 5/8. Next, would a WWE/UFC crossover work?

4. From personal experience, there are fans on both sides of the WWE/UFC fence who don't like the other side and what they do and would never pay for such a cross-over. I don't think it'd be a guaranteed success.

5. Tensai's someone different in the main event scene who can work pretty well for a big guy. So no, I don't have a problem pushing the veteran.

Paul Heyman will be sticking around with WWE semi-regularly through at least Summerslam. I'm looking forward to more of him. One hell of a promo guy. He could also work with C.M. Punk at some point. I'd love to see that.

Here's a Q&A session Miz did.

Here's Part 1 of an interview with Jerry Lawler.

The 5/7 Raw did a 3.0 rating. Some of the decline would seem to be related to Brock Lesnar not being on the show.

The 5/8 Smackdown taping had a dark match of Bo Rotundo beating Derrick Bateman. I wonder if we'll see that match on NXT at any point.

The plan as of 5/8 is to hold TNA Bound For Glory outside of Orlando.

That's all for 5/8's news. 5/9's should be up tonight, after the 5/9 NXT. Thanks for reading!
