It's a three-hour Raw going into Extreme Rules on 4/29. There's an official contract signing for John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar, and WWE also continues the road to Chris Jericho vs. WWE Champion C.M. Punk. Read on for my thoughts on the show as it happened.
Starting off with the contract signing is ballsy. What else do they have up their sleeves for Cena and Brock?
Cena selling fear for an opponent is fresh.
I was bummed about this segment until Edge came out of nowhere. He still looks weird with the short hair.
I'd mark out a little inside if Edge would have signed the contract for the match, but he's in no condition to compete.
Edge's still got it from a promo perspective.
Edge is cutting a killer promo on the whole situation. I wish more people got to cut this level of a promo.
Websites are presented as more important than the match again.
Jericho's matches are like works of art at times.
Kofi's doing pretty well himself.
Damned solid match.
I like Jericho's promos. There's nothing sympathetic about his character. He's just a jerk who says and does bad things.
A Lesnar history lesson is cool by me.

Weird promo from Tensai. I don't know if this gimmick is fit for 2012.
Tensai's basically a tank.
Well, that was a Lord Tensai match. I wonder what the end goal is here. Maybe he gets knocked off by Ryback some day?
That Kane promo was kind of weird.
I was wondering where Bearer ended up after the last time he got "killed off".
So Bearer's just going to die back there (again)?
Show KOing Rhodes in another IC Title match at Extreme Rules does no one any favors. If anything, it devalues Rhodes.
I hope this tag match is quick. Rhodes and Del Rio have their work cut out for them.
I like the heels working over Show's leg.
Maybe Rhodes vs. Show should be a submission match?
The people who boo John Cena are like me with Big Show.
Miz is working an online-only pre-show. I never thought I'd say that after WM27.
That ruling must be after Stone Cold's run as champion.
Behind-the-scenes, Laurinaitis is usually the guy giving the bad news for management.
That's one way for Lesnar to answer a question.
Oh, come on... he didn't hurt him THAT badly.
This might be the last time we see the Bellas on TV.
Beth's title reign used to be a pretty big deal.
That Divas song is ridiculously perky.
Kind of a random Lumberjill match, but whatever.

Not sure what's happening with Punk.
Ridiculous is one accurate way to describe this segment. Did Jericho "drug" him or something?
Punk acting drunk is entertaining in a "train wreck" sense.
Punk botching the alphabet's going on a highlight reel or something.
Sheamus vs. Henry is PPV-level. Ratings need a boost, but big matches need to be saved for when they mean something.
Lesnar bloodying Hogan was pretty cool. You won't see that in TNA.
Interesting use of the referee stipulation.
Wouldn't it have been smarter for Bryan to make the match long and have Henry wear him down, and continue to frustrate him until Sheamus snaps and gets fired?
Hornswoggle and sponsorship in one match. Ugh.

Zack Ryder was getting a pretty solid groundswell of support before the Kane angle derailed him.
WWE likes making money from YouTube. They just don't like whatever Ryder was going to post on his on episode 63.
I wish more wrestlers had the personality that Santino and Ryder have in the ring.
I don't think Bearer would have lived that long in there.
Please tell me we're not headed for a Primo/Epico feud. They've barely been built as a team.
Maybe one day Brodus will turn on Hornswoggle for being off-step with his dancing.

Cameron and Naomi vs. Vickie and her daughter (who's in FCW as Raquel Diaz). It writes itself.
Lesnar did a LOT in his 2 previous years in the company.
Interesting contract signing, though long.
Good ending to set up the PPV.
