Raw Reax - 5/14/12

Read on for my thoughts on the 5/14 Raw!
Good backstage segment to set-up HHH's promo later in the night.

Great "worked shoot" promo by HHH to begin Raw. It made sense to bring up Brock's career path.

And an amazing use of Paul Heyman. I loved seeing HHH and Heyman play off of each other.

Pretty good tag match. Punk, Bryan, Rhodes, and Santino all did their parts well.

Simple, effective Divas match to set up Layla vs. Beth.

Kane vs. Big Show was fine for what it was. The two big guys worked hard and I respect that.

Coming from someone who rags on Big Show, he put his heart into his pre-firing promo. I wish it led to him taking some time off to freshen up his act like what did wonders for Kane.

Fine six-man tag to break things after a pretty serious segment of Show being fired.

I'm intrigued by the continued use of AJ and am glad Management has faith in her in a big storyline. She's showed a lot of promise in her time in WWE.

Good use of Orton, Jericho, and Sheamus to continue the build to Over The Limit.

Strong(ly delusional) promo from Laurinaitis. He reminds me of Michael Cole in that he's so darn annoying in his role that it turns around and makes me like him at times.

Cena delivered as he can when he's in the right situation to. With the right person to play off of and the right crowd, he can cut some pretty solid promos.

The final touches on Cena/Laurinaitis were interesting, though obviously they have something planned.
