Questions on Laurinaitis, Steiner/Bischoff, Cena/Punk, introducing champs last, and rain at Mania, Interviews with Bryan/Jericho/Stephanie, big heat on Flair, reactions to Laurinaitis and Lilian from Over The Limit, Tensai update, and the 5/18 Smackdown rating

For my take on the 5/21 PWInsider.com questions:
1. I've heard the theory that he was injured in Japan, but never any concrete reports that that's what changed his voice. I'm erring on the side of "it's a work" here.

2. It's possible, but there's nothing to suggest that it is. Steiner's legitimately gone from TNA, for one.

3. If they were on Smackdown, too, they would dominate the show like they do on Raw and not as many Smackdown people would get over.

4. It's not high on my list of complaints about wrestling, let's put it that way.

5. I think a lot of fans there would have been fine with watching the show in the rain, similar to fans in the Northeast at football games. Not that they shouldn't have had a back-up plan. What about people coming down the ramp and commentators also caught in it?

After the break, I hit everything else from 5/21.

Daniel Bryan talked to Hollywood Life, and the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Chris Jericho talked about working with C.M. Punk and his return vignettes.

Stephanie McMahon talked about Raw going to 3 hours and more.

There's a lot of heat on Ric Flair from TNA and its roster after repeated incidents at hotels and bars in Orlando. Flair had a habit of getting huge bar tabs and passing it off onto TNA management. He was pulled from live events and TV tapings leading to the 5/31 live show. It should also be noted that Spike TV doesn't want him wrestling and bleeding on-screen at his age. There's speculation that he could leave the company. From the sound of things, that might be the best move.

Lilian Garcia got heat for her mistakes at Over The Limit.

On the other hand, John Laurinaitis got a standing ovation from a lot of the roster.

Lord Tensai is now to be referred to simply as Tensai.

The 5/18 Smackdown got a 1.81 rating. Not bad, but they've done better.

That's all for the 5/21 news. Thanks for reading!
