Orton update, more on MMA name wrestling, Vince comments on Network in the UK, where Cena was during Raw, live event notes, Impact changes nights in another country, no Impact before Thanksgiving, ECW Week, and Questions on writing for WWE, using Hogan, Show vs. Henry, and Bray in the Cell

WWE has removed Randy Orton from advertising for their year-end tour in order to match the current storyline of him being out indefinitely. He is still scheduled to appear then.

TMZ picked up the story of the former MMA fighter training for wrestling. I wish him luck. It won't be easy.

Vince McMahon apologized for delaying the launch of the WWE Network in the UK. Fans aren't pleased with the delay, to say the least.

John Cena was in Los Angeles Monday night, likely filming something for part of "The Nest". I wonder if he'd ever actually consider "pulling a Rock" and going to Hollywood on a more permanent basis.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
Big E and Kofi Kingston beat Erick Rowan and Luke Harper at a live event in London. Xavier Woods celebrated with them afterward. What this means for the main roster remains to be seen, but I hope all those involved get a real chance to have a place on the roster going forward.

Impact Wrestling is moving to Friday nights in Australia. The descent continues.

Spike will be pre-empting Impact Wrestling on 11/26, the night before Thanksgiving. It won't air that week at all. Considering Spike has actually aired the show Thanksgiving night in the past, it's pretty telling they're pre-empting it this time. TNA was probably just going to show a clip show that night, so it's not that big of a loss. I'm really curious to see what things look like for TNA going forward. Even if they are on TV in 2015, that will be after several weeks of clip shows. It's possible TNA sprinkles in some squash matches they've got in the can, but other than those and a One Night Only PPV, they don't have anything fresh taped for December.

WWE will be adding a lot of ECW content to the Network next week, including a new interview of Paul Heyman by Joey Styles. I look forward to that!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I actually like both of those stories. As for getting a job writing for WWE, it helps to have a background writing other episodic shows, and I'd imagine a college degree in something like communication, journalism, or English. They're not just going to hire anyone. But yes, ultimately even if you did get a job there, you'd be the bottom rung on the ladder as a writer. No one's going to come in and change WWE overnight as an unknown.

2. I also think Hogan should be used for rare, meaningful occasions if he's to remain special.

3. I suppose Show thought they were past that stage, or at least both on the same page enough to defend America against Rusev. People change (sometimes). I do think you have to give showrunners SOME slack in continuity, because they have to keep using the same people and eventually they go back to the same stories.

4. It's supposed to be impenetrable anyway! Generally I remember people either sneaking in while disguised (Edge) or being supernatural and theoretically able to defy physics like that (Bray). They definitely need to keep instances of people making it into the Cell rare and meaningful.

5. His issue is with Ambrose, so it makes sense to attack him and cost him the match.

More wrestling tomorrow.
