WWE Survivor Series Reax

Read on for my thoughts on last night's WWE PPV.

Pre-show:
I liked the banter on the pre-show about The Authority. I hope we're in for something fresh after so many segments involving heels in power lately.

Fandango vs. Gabriel was fine enough to re-establish the dancer. I think the former Johnny Curtis has made the most of the gimmick.

I liked the Miz/Mizdow segment. They've been really good as a team.

I'm glad to see Barrett back, even if it's just for one night.

I liked the AJ promo. I hope she ends the Bella madness tonight.

I liked the Cesaro/Colter segment. It's a shame Cesaro's kind of directionless now without a manager.

Swagger vs. Cesaro was good for the time it got. I wanted more, though.

Nice last image to sell the show.

Survivor Series:
I really liked the opening segment with Cena and The Authority to sell how serious the main event is. That's a good additional stipulation to the main event.

I enjoyed the opening tag match a good deal. I'm surprised we have new champs, although Miz and Mizdow have been great lately and I'm glad the latter is being rewarded for everything he's done. Where do the champions go from here? When do we see The Ascension? Interesting questions up ahead.

I don't have high hopes for Rose and The Bunny vs. Slater Gator, but I think it will work fine for a lighter segment in-between big clashes.

I really liked the Divas bout, possibly because I wasn't expecting much from it. The hard workers did what they do, and things weren't weighed down much by the less-strong workers.

I loved Ambrose vs. Wyatt for the physicality and the story it told. I'm ready for the next round.

Awesome post-match. TLC will be insane!

Badass promo from HHH. He's a great character, just maybe overexposed.

I liked the pre-match dissension between Rose and The Bunny. This angle's been good so far.

Nice match for getting things going between the two teams. I think there's a good feud to be made here.

That was pretty stupid, although it played nicely off the "18 seconds" thing. I wonder if AJ really is leaving soon as rumored.

The Dark Era Of The Bellas has begun. Not looking forward to this.

I'll break up the main event by eliminations:
I think that was a pretty clever start to the match. I can't say I object to the quick start.

Nice sequence for the second elimination. I wonder how they'll eliminate Rusev if he's not on the winning team.

REALLY good stuff to lead to the elimination of Rusev. I think Ziggler was amazing here.

Good stuff to eliminate Rowan. I like this match so far.

Dude, what!? I guess Show is a double agent or something. As if I needed another reason to hate him.

I guess Show's getting a lot of perks if The Authority wins. Maybe Orton saves the day, though? Or Roman Reigns?

Good stuff to get rid of Kane. They can really elevate Ziggler here, and I hope they do. Either that or Rollins crushes his dreams.

Really good segment to get it down to Ziggler vs. Rollins. This is incredible!

Really, really cool ending. They set up some good stories going forward. It did put Sting as more important than Ziggler, but I can live with that since Ziggler got the win officially.

I really loved the ending to the show, and hope we're getting closer to a new era in the company. Sting vs. HHH at Mania is fine as long as there's a transition toward younger names going on at the same time.
