Query on WWE adding another title, Network note, Tough Enough press, security guard sues WWE, JR health note, another new name working ROH, more ROH vs. NJPW, Interview with Cena, new production deal for TNA, TE injury, TNA footage pulled due to contract issues, match pulled from Battleground, and Questions on pushing Cesaro, Austin-2K16, Ambrose's offense, and Lesnar vs. the Cadillac

First up, a query:
1. I don't see WWE adding any more championships at this time. You'd think with more screen time to fill, they'd consider it, but so far that hasn't been the case.

WWE Network will soon be adding more ECW programming. It takes time to get so much old footage ready for digital distribution.

A TV Guide reporter trained with the Tough Enough competitors. I'd rather watch the old version of NXT with the obstacle courses, personally.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

A security guard from a WWE live event in 2013 is suing every single wrestler on the card because he was allegedly injured and doesn't know who did it. You'd think watching the video to see who struck him would be something to do BEFORE filing the lawsuit. The security company having no record of it is also pretty notable. Lawsuits of questionable veracity like this one hurt the integrity of the legal system as a whole.

Jim Ross will be undergoing a minor medical procedure soon. Hopefully whatever issue it is stays minor.

Former PWG star Willie Mack will be working an ROH event this weekend. Whether this is a sign of a longer relationship remains to be seen. We didn't get to see him in NXT, so maybe we will on ROH TV. Or, he could stay with LU and this is just a one-shot. Time will tell.

Adam Cole vs. Shinsuke Nakamura has been announced for an August 21 ROH live event. ROH's demographic is already pretty excited for that.

John Cena confirmed he's not planning on leaving WWE for Hollywood. I agree he's doing some of the best ring work of his career right now.

TNA has announced a partnership with a new production company. Given the issues they'd had behind-the-scenes with that, a change was certainly in order. Hopefully this fixes that so they can focus on other things.

Tough Enough contestant Chelsea Green, who was recently added to the show as a replacement, suffered an ankle injury during an obstacle course challenge. That's unfortunate. Hopefully they don't need to replace anyone else.

TNA has removed all storylines and appearances featuring Hernandez from what's been taped for upcoming weeks of Impact Wrestling after being informed he remains under contract with Lucha Underground. Under the terms of his LU deal, he's unable to appear on other promotions' television shows. TNA attempted to work something out to where they could show the footage they've already taped, but were unable to come to an agreement with LU.

TNA will replace Hernandez footage with other footage, as we saw this week with the Hall of Fame stuff and showing parts from Slammiversary. Next week's tapings will provide them with an opportunity to shoot new material for shows that were already "in the can" featuring Hernandez. So, any matches/segments featuring BDC and other talents who worked against them have been scrapped until TNA can tape new stuff.

As a result of all this, Hernandez is no longer part of TNA. LU has him under contract and it is up to them whether he is used for Season 2 of their show and how. Where he goes from here is pretty much up to them (unless, I assume, he somehow gets a release from his deal so he can return to TNA).

WWE has pulled this Sunday's Intercontinental Championship match following an injury to Ryback. While I assumed they would just make a #1 Contendership match between Miz and Big Show, this doesn't appear to be the plan. The IC Title has been associated with several injuries lately, and I hope this is the last. As for what WWE should put in the place of the dropped match, Cesaro vs. Rusev to me would be a no-brainer. A Divas match/segment could also fill the gap.

Update: Ryback has been confirmed to have had a severe staph infection in his knee, and was taken to a hospital. I wish him a speedy recovery. Those are no joke. If they do have to strip him of the title, Cesaro or Rusev would be my picks. I don't think anyone wants to see Miz or Big Show with the title again.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. If someone who had three 20+ minute matches in three weeks doesn't qualify as "getting a push," we really need to evaluate what that term means. He held his own against the former 15-time World Champion for a full thirty minutes. As for him going up the card beyond that, I think it is because they don't see him as having strong enough promo skills. Note they can only have so many people in the upper midcard or main event level. Being a great worker at the US/IC Title level is nothing to scoff at, and hopefully he'll be able to transcend that some day in the future.

2. They wanted to use 3:16 for 2K16. While I agree Brock or one of the Shield members would make more sense, to say Austin doesn't matter as a wrestler in 2015 is absolutely ludicrous. How many questions have they gotten asking if he's returning to the ring at WM32? They're not asking that about Buff Bagwell.

3. I do think at times his offense is so wild it's hard to take seriously as offense. But he's over and was more or less the uncrowned WWE Champion a few months back, so it must be good enough for most people.

4. Brock is a complete monster already. I don't remember the last time a wrestler's "power level" was that high.

5. It was a really fun angle. Much better than him spray-painting "Rollins sucks" or something on the car.

More wrestling tomorrow.
