Seth Rollins will be on the next edition of Tough Enough. I'd rather see J&J Security lecture the contestants, honestly.
Ric Flair will be present at Monday's Raw taping, likely due to the big Dusty Rhodes special that's showing that night. He's got to appear on the show itself, right?
Triple H put over the new NXT Champion and WWE's Tokyo show. I'm ready for the Balor era in NXT.
Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, WWE removed the profiles of Hunico and The Bunny from their website. That confirms there are no plans for either character going forward. The former Hunico is still being used as Sin Cara, while the former Bunny (Justin Gabriel) now works in GFW as PJ Black. Sami Zayn also played The Bunny a few times. He's currently injured and wasn't expected to reprise his role.
For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. In hindsight, obviously it wasn't the end of an era as far as never seeing those guys in big matches again. Just like Cena vs. Rock wasn't Once In A Lifetime. I can see the argument of it being the last time they all feuded. It was probably naive to assume WWE would stop using those names and leave money on the table.
2. NXT needs a champion who will stay exclusive to NXT. Owens is a main roster guy now, and it was better to do the switch in Japan (where Balor was a big deal for years) than keep the title on Owens until the next Takeover special. Owens can now focus on the U.S. Title and other main roster things.
3. I definitely think we'll see more international shows on the Network as time goes on, and some added "PPV" specials, too. Whether the two will overlap remains to be seen.
4. I wonder that as well. I don't see WWE burying the other Rotundas given the relationship they've had for so long.
Nothing to really add to 5. The last match I saw of his was when TNA did their ECW reunion thing.
More wrestling.
