AEW has trademarked the name "AEW Revolution" for a lot of potential purposes, including a TV show, streaming service, and video game. It's unknown which if any of those will receive the name. I find the name pretty cringeworthy and self-congratulatory, but it fits with their vision.

Smackdown Live was originally going to be headlined by Kofi Kingston vs. Andrade. This was changed to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods vs. Daniel Bryan and Rowan before being changed again to Big E taking Kofi's place. Both changes were Vince McMahon decisions.

Summerslam was set to have Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan, but now it looks like that match has been dropped in order to let the storyline play out more. Rowan being Roman's attacker could be a red herring, as other ideas are being discussed. WWE Creative is really a mess.

Pentagon, Jr. has been added to Battle of Los Angeles. There could be some really fun matches there.

CHIKARA has announced a working agreement with Michinoku Pro Wrestling. That should be interesting.

- Sonny DeFarge will be the first CHIKARA wrestler to work for Michinoku, beginning in September.

The Rock, John Cena, Becky Lynch, and Xavier Woods (with Kofi Kingston and Big E) have been added to the game Brawlhalla. Xavier's inclusion is due to UpUpDownDown.

AEW's Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy have been added to NEW's August 16 event. Brian Pillman, Jr. is also now set for that show.

Smackdown Live drew 2.09 million viewers Tuesday night. The show got a nice boost from last week.

NWA has announced tapings in Georgia on September 30 and October 1. They're really taking a bold step going out on their own. It's unknown when and where these shows will air.

WWE has renamed their audio studio after "Mean" Gene Okerlund. I love it!

Charly Caruso is a semifinalist in the Ms. Health and Fitness competition. Her profile is really growing.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It was definitely designed to be more graphic than your average beatdown, in order to theoretically stand out more and raise the stakes for what is theoretically WWE's biggest match of the summer.

2. I limit the number of promotions I follow in order to give them the attention they deserve. That said, MLW consistently gets praise and good audience numbers. They seem to be doing quite well at a steady pace, and it's not out of the question to expect bigger things from them in the future.

3. The two sides want to work together. It's just a matter of figuring out how he'll be involved. I certainly think we'll see him by the end of the year.

4. The idea was to save the more known quantities for last so fans would watch the whole show. And, honestly, no disrespect to the EVOLVE roster, but was anyone else on that show as much of a draw as Adam Cole? Another key difference is that the Saudi headliners weren't active wrestlers in their primes like Cole, Riddle, etc. Plus, Theory vs. Drake was the longest match of the night. They didn't get pushed aside for the WWE stars.

5. I picked up a few here and there, but that's not what inspired me to do what I do here. That was actually PWInsider! But before I found them, I thought the WCW "invasion" was something that needed to be covered, and I also got really invested in Impact coming to Spike years later.

More wrestling tomorrow.
