Network fix, ROH name in BOLA, wrestling appearances, Interviews with AJ Kirsch+Cage, Impact Twitch milestone, WWE's final gift to Race, Race's final interview, and Questions on Dr. Hiney and WWE's canceled live events

WWE Network's Amazon Fire Stick app got another update to fix audio/video syncs. It's amazing the level of technology employed there.

Jeff Cobb has been added to Battle of Los Angeles. I hope he can be a big player in future years.

Trish Stratus did a meet-and-greet at the Rogers Cup. She and Charlotte Flair are doing a Twitter feud going into Summerslam.

Former Tough Enough name AJ Kirsch spoke about his recent Smackdown Live cameo and more. Here are highlights:
- Glad to see him enthusiastic about taking WWE opportunities, even minor ones.

- Oh yeah, the whole point of Tough Enough was to have a variety of characters and tell a story, rather than creating a new superstar.

- I'm glad he's still going for roles.

- AEW definitely provides a contrast, which is good.

- I completely agree about WWE being pop music.

Impact's Twitch channel has hit 100,000 followers. I'm under the impression they get similar viewership there as on Pursuit.

Brian Cage spoke to Chris Van Vliet. Cage has really had an up-and-down year.

WWE helped Harley Race spend some final days home. Glad to see that.

Sabu is appearing on Viceland's Action Bronson Ancient Aliens show. That feels like one of those random bot headlines.

Kurt Angle will be part of Summerslam weekend, likely doing signings.

Matt Riddle did a crossbody before an MLB game. That was great.

The Gathering got press.

NWA released a long-form Harley Race interview from Nick Aldis.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1 is a repeat.

2 is essentially a repeat as well.

3. With Vince's sense of humor, he could absolutely see that as an honor for JR to be the centerpiece of such a skit. I can't say it was great television or one of WWE's best moments. It does seem like Vince wanted JR to "lighten up" and this was part of that.

4. I expect they won't get their bonus for the shows that didn't run. WWE needs to adjust their bonuses given the lesser importance of live events compared to TV rights.

5. WWE needs to drastically overhaul their live event schedule. Right now, they run a lot more shows than they should given the poor returns on them. They've been in the habit of running a certain number of shows, but it's something that needs to be adjusted. It's also a telling sign of the level of interest in WWE right now.

More wrestling tomorrow.
