Jericho meets Impact execs, WWE app updated, assorted wrestling press, Bret doing WWE signing, SI covers Race passing, NXT duo heading to Germany, AEW advertising before Rock movie, Impact dark match, Triplemania notes, and Questions on Sasha's WWE status, The Briscoes not going to AEW, AEW's sellout, Summerslam's next destination, and NJPW not running MSG again

Chris Jericho visited Impact execs Don Callis and Scott D'Amore recently when they were all in California. I wouldn't assume anything's happening between AEW and Impact.

WWE's Android app was recently updated to match WWE Network's new design.

Titus O'Neil helped a local back-to-school event.

Roman Reigns answered IGN comments.

Bret Hart is doing a Summerslam weekend meet-and-greet for WWE. So that relationship is still intact despite Bret appearing at Double or Nothing and turning down Raw Reunion.

Kushida has his first WWE T-shirt.

Kofi Kingston's "WWE 24" documentary will air after Summerslam.

Sports Illustrated covered Harley Race's passing, with Triple H, Ric Flair, Terry Funk, and Jim Ross all quoted.

Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch are working wXw's World Tag Team Festival this October in Germany. Good to see them getting work there.

AEW is running a commercial before showings of "Hobbs & Shaw," which is genius and shows how much the Khans are behind this project.

Before Impact's Star Struck event, Andy Brown defended the CWFH Heritage Championship against Adrian Quest.

At AAA Triplemania XXVII:
- Tessa Blanchard won AAA's women's championship in a seven-way TLC match. Taya Valkyrie was also involved.
- Cain Velasquez, Cody, and Psycho Clown defeated Killer Kross, El Texano, Jr., and Taurus. It's notable an AEW talent and an Impact talent were in the same match.
- The Lucha Bros and Laredo Kid defeated Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks. Kenny Omega challenged Fenix to a match for AAA's top championship

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Yes, and I don't expect WWE to release her to wrestle elsewhere. If she's not returning to WWE, she's going to be on the bench for quite a while.

2. I'm under the impression The Briscoes don't want to wrestle more regularly than they do now, as they own a farm on top of their wrestling endeavors. So, they're content with their current schedule rather than wrestling weekly for AEW (or WWE for that matter). They also get to do what they want to do in ROH, without worrying about TNT hypothetically objecting to their language or style.

3. I have nothing but praise for the level of success AEW has achieved. They have consistently blown away expectations, and changed the game for wrestling.

4. If they're returning to Toronto, it's possible they announce that during this Summerslam. Time will tell.

5. Because it's very expensive to do so, and it will be much harder to pull those kind of crowd numbers next time. As was said, they'd rather have a full house of 1,800 than pay big to run MSG for 5,000 fans. I wouldn't expect pairing with ROH to help much in that regard, either, given the numbers that brand is pulling now that AEW is a thing.

More wrestling tomorrow.
