-- Main Event:
- Dana vs. Sarah:
Not bad here.

I like how these two work together.

Fine match!

- Revival vs. Hawkins/Ryder:
Solid start.

I like the teamwork here.

This is pretty solid.

Kind of an odd ending after two finishers, but they worked together well.

AEW's October 9 TV taping has added the Young Bucks vs. Private Party in the first round of the AEW Tag Team Championship tournament.

AEW's Riho has won Stardom's High Speed Championship. I'm all for seeing more current joshi stars in AEW. ROH really dropped the ball with the Stardom working agreement.

Hulk Hogan and Jimmy Hart potentially got an Illinois police officer in trouble for using a squad car  to chauffeur the pair on an airline tarmac while the siren was on. Yeah I'm not sure that's a proper use of police equipment.

WWE did brief coverage of their Ontario tryout. They usually detail all trainees. We'll see if anyone gets signed from that big list.

R-Truth successfully defended the 24/7 Championship at a meet-and-greet Summerslam weekend. This is amazing.

ROH Death Before Dishonor is set to be headlined by Matt Taven vs. Rush for the ROH Championship. That's a big opportunity for Rush, but I have a feeling Taven's reign will continue.

The Summer Supercard fan who had passed out intoxicated in the front row was seen to by paramedics.

Summer Supercard's attendance is believed to have been around 1,000, which is what the company drew in May for War of the Worlds. What's notable is that this was Summerslam weekend and they ran a much larger venue.

WWE has released Firefly Fun House-themed puppets and a Fiend-themed mask. Sadly they don't measure up to the real thing.

An Ontario Foot Locker had special limited edition sneakers for Shawn Michaels, Becky Lynch, and Kofi Kingston for Summerslam weekend. Pretty cool.

Summerslam got local press.

Trish Stratus has indicated she expects Summerslam to be her final match. That would make sense: she probably won't get a bigger opportunity to go out on top unless WrestleMania returns to Toronto.

Hangman Page appeared at House of Glory's High Intensity 8 event to cut a promo on Chris Jericho. Cool to see AEW presence there.

Kylie Rae has deleted her Twitter account. It's unknown what's happening with her. I wish her the best on the road to return.

Cody is doing a Pro Wrestling Tees signing for his children's book on August 29.

Kenny Omega is set for Singapore Pro Wrestling's September 15 event. That's... interesting.

Chris Jericho's cruise has added Private Party. I expect an episode of AEW TV to be taped there.

Kane's communications director recently said the mayor is not set for any upcoming WWE shows despite being advertised for upcoming live events. I'm curious what happened there.

NXT's Kavita Devi is set for ACL surgery. There's no word on how long she'll be out.

Kofi Kingston was profiled before Summerslam. It's good to see Vince let them do their thing even if he doesn't personally get it. That needs to be more of an occurrence.

NJPW honored Harley Race at the G1 Climax finals.

Marty Scurll is set for a House of Glory appearance October 5.

MLW has announced a working agreement with The Crash from Mexico. This was largely a Salina de la Renta endeavor. MLW's going to have access to even more unique talent with these deals.

After Takeover:Toronto, Johnny Gargano received a standing ovation. I wonder where he goes after failing again to win the NXT Championship.

Triple H did his usual post-Takeover conference call, covered here:
- Impressive numbers.

- I did like something unique for the main event. You can only do the same thing with the same people for so long.

- Yeah the "blood and guts" comment was a reach.

- Probably just a matter of time before we see Theory again.

- Yeah, interesting defense of Riddle. It's definitely not a good look for Triple H to let Riddle's remarks slide.

- It's the right time for Gargano to take time off since he lost again.

- Interesting stuff about Cyborg, too.

- Hmmm... I wonder how long of a shot these international destinations are.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I definitely think we can see that at some point. I don't know if wrestling games have that level of competitive fandom, though. The "hardcore" fans don't really seem to love 2K. We'll see if that changes.

2. She's not under any contract to WWE so she can wrestle wherever she wants! I've also never seen her, so we'll see what she's made of in a few weeks.

3. That would be natural, but I don't blame the NWA for trying something different, since ROH and NXT already run that venue.

Nothing to add to 4 or 6.

5. That was Saudi Arabia's call. Halloween is not an Islamic holiday, so I don't expect there will be any crossover.

More wrestling tomorrow.
