Knockout suffers facial paralysis, WWE-Mattel at Comic-Con, Hogan talks his future in TNA, Questions on "Joker" Sting, revealing the Raw GM, Sin Cara's future, and comebacks for Jericho and Batista, trailer for Orton DVD, Punk makes a pizza in Chi-town, more on Taz missing Destination X, Angle talks Olympics and more, Paul Bearer changes Twitter name, another South African sellout, and a new WWE signing

TNA's Sarita posted on Facebook that she recently suffered facial paralysis and had to pull out of a number of matches. Hopefully she recovers fully.

Mattel and WWE will have a panel at Comic-Con in San Diego on 7/21 from 11:30-12:30, looking at the past, present, and future of the company. Triple H, Rey Mysterio, and WWE's Creative team will all be a part of a Q&A. That should be interesting.

Hulk Hogan hinted at what direction his character will be going in upcoming months in TNA.

PWInsider.com has some new questions to examine:
1. As they said, it's to freshen the character up and go in a new direction with it. It was time, I think.

2. Whenever WWE Creative wants to do something different with the role, which doesn't look to be anytime soon. It's a pretty easy way to move things along without having to think of what whoever it is (say, Stephanie McMahon) would do in that situation. They can do just about whatever they want with it since there's no established character for it to contradict if no one knows who it is!

After the break, I look at the rest of their questions and the rest of Saturday's news. First up, will Sin Cara get a championship?

3. It wouldn't be surprising in the least. Unless he fizzles out some time soon (which isn't looking likely), he'll likely move up the ranks as he gets more comfortable in the ring and the fans get more and more behind him.

4. I don't know why he'd scheme to interrupt himself and make himself earn title matches and the like. I guess it's possible (if he got someone else to be backstage and play off of him being in the ring wanting a title match a couple of weeks back), but it's not really likely. And I'd think Vince McMahon would have mentioned that when he talked about him on Raw.

5. Jericho won't be returning soon as in at any point in the remainder of the year unless he abandons his projects with Fozzy. Batista still seems content to wait until WWE changes from PG before coming back, which also doesn't seem to be on the horizon. So, that's two nos unfortunately.

Here's the trailer for Randy Orton's upcoming DVD due in September.

C.M. Punk, accompanied by Beth Phoenix and Colt Cabana, made a "GTS" pizza in Chicago. Sounds like an odd-tasting pizza, though the quip about using turkey was pretty clever.

Taz will be missing Destination X due to a family commitment. He'll be back for the following week's Impact Wrestling tapings.

Kurt Angle had an interview in the UK about the Olympics, Impact Wrestling, and a number of other topics. His thoughts on his injuries are more than a little unsettling.

Paul Bearer's Twitter account was hacked, so he is now using the name WWEpercyBEARER.

WWE sold out once more in South Africa, this time in Durban.

Finally, WWE has signed Derek Foore to a developmental deal after recent tryouts. The 22-year-old has a notable amateur background. I hope that works out well for all involved.

That's all for Saturday's news. More to come tomorrow, including a preview of Destination X. Thanks for reading!
