The first wrestling story of the day is about... ice cream? Apparently so. Since they were a popular topic online following C.M. Punk's promo on Raw, WWE has directed interested fans to this website to petition to resume creation of them. I actually don't remember them, but they were apparently pretty popular some years back.

Update: Good Humor has given responses to requests for their return. How hilarious would it be if Punk's promo led to that happening?

WWE has released a new Rey Mysterio DVD. Here's a rundown of it.

Here's a WWE video looking at the history of Money In The Bank matches. Something tells me we'll get a DVD of those one day.

Drew McIntyre was thankfully uninjured from his spill off the stage during the Mark Henry/Big Show angle on Raw. He was shaken up, but cleared after an evaluation by WWE trainers and EMTs.

PWInsider.com has plenty of news on the book front, including several new entries.

After the break, I look at their latest questions, starting with the odds of Paul Heyman being the Raw GM.

1. Not very good. I don't even know if Heyman would want to come back to WWE to do it. It'd be cool to imagine, but it doesn't look like it'll happen.

2. What they said. FCW doesn't use as many personnel (and has less house shows and particularly less TV tapings), so there's less opportunity for them to learn on the job there. That's actually something I hadn't realy stopped to think about.

3. Pretty much what they said. Wrestling is in that weird sector where some things they post are part of the story and others are legitimate, but presumably anyone who buys stock in a company focused on wr... umm.. their fictional TV shows knows that that's the case? And yes, they have a corporate site that posts things about releases and legitimate changes in the company's hierarchy. When John Cena was "fired" in the Nexus angle , it was on the regular WWE mainpage. When Chavo Guerrero was actually released, it was on the Corporate site as well.

4. I can't top that answer! But if that was a serious inquiry, I don't think so. I mean, making a whole DVD dedicated to bashing someone working for their competition? Seems like kind of a waste, even if Matt gets a disc of his own.

5. To add to their answer, I think they told Henry he was facing someone specifically, and they had the match planned out and everything. They waited to see how long he'd wait before leaving the ring, and they played 3 different entrance tracks to keep making him think someone was coming out for a match (none of whom were who he had planned the match with), and no one came out. Henry eventually went backstage for good and they ended the show with no dark match. It was a Vince McMahon/Kevin Dunn idea, but neither got their wig split or hit with the World's Strongest Slam for it.

Mick Foley commented on the big Punk-Cena angle on Raw. Remember the last time someone said that about Sting, Hogan, Anderson, Flair, Bischoff, RVD, Jeff Hardy, or anyone else in regards to TNA? Me either.

Orlando Jordan has been released by TNA. This was the company's decision and not a case of him asking to leave. He commented on it on Twitter. I wasn't really a fan of his gimmick in TNA, but he was an ok-enough worker. I don't know if WWE would want to give him another look or not. I don't think I'd mind him returning (in a different character) as the company continues to build its younger stars.

Chris Jericho and Fozzy were in a bus accident recently, but everyone is thankfully ok.

Christopher Daniels discussed Destination X in a recent interview. Going in "that" direction would definitely be something new and different from TNA, but I don't know how successful it'd be.

The Chicago Tribune talked to John Cena about the hostile environment he'll face this Sunday and more. Good piece.

Finlay and Gangrel were interviewed recently. The former is DEAD ON about ring psychology.

A poorly written piece featuring comments from Justin Gabriel and Natalya continued WWE's coverage in South Africa. I hope they don't make the mistake of giving that guy more interviews in the future.

The winner of the most recent Tough Enough was profiled in the Miami Herald. He's got his work cut out for him in breaking out of his shell and becoming a big star.

Here's a profile of FCW, featuring comments from a number of workers there (including Kaitlyn and NXT Rookies Titus O'Neil and Lucky Cannon) and local fans.

Mason Ryan and JBL have articles regarding social issues important for them.

WWE has a video of a number of WWE superstars talking about the recent Australian/Kiwi tour.

Slam! has a recent story on Luke Gallows for those interested in his whereabouts.

Jillian Hall is now working on an autobiography. Apparently that's the new trend.

Raw did a 2.9 on Monday, up against the Home Run Derby, and a number of popular shows returning to TV. It seems like more of a case of people being more interested in those shows than not being interested in Raw.

Bill DeMott revealed on Twitter that there's currently a plan for another season of Tough Enough, with the same trainers returning.

Finally, Kid Kash has signed a deal to return to TNA. He probably wouldn't have been my first choice, but we'll see what he can bring to the table.

That's all for Tuesday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
