Query on Low Ki, Flair opens online store, Riley interview, WWE re-schedules house show, UK ratings, Questions on Daniel Bryan cashing in, the Beautiful People, a Knockouts BFG series, and TNA reaching out to C.M. Punk, more heat on Sin Cara, Joey Styles announcing update, more on Matt Morgan's appearance on "Made", Turning Point location, Bischoff talks X-Division, another wrestler confirmed for Comic-Con, C.M. Punk confronts Triple H, special Kurt Angle figure for charity, and a Samoa Joe interview

Someone asked the blog if Low Ki is or will be involved with TNA's All Wheels Wrestling project. Not that I'm aware of, but the promotion's still in its early stages.

Ric Flair is selling a number of autographed items in his new online store, including photos, T-shirts, lottery tickets, and little limousines. He's also selling a version of the Big Gold Belt and personalized phone calls/video messages. The man needs money. It wouldn't surprise me if he's wrestling at indy shows years from now. The former many-time World Champion who's headlined countless PPVs should have been set for life a LONG time ago, but he hasn't managed his money from his career well.

Alex Riley was interviewed to promote an upcoming Raw house show. I like that the fans get to choose the match type. One thing wrestling can do that most art forms can't is instantly judge crowd reactions and play off of them (as opposed to movies and TV shows being taped a long time in advance before they air).

WWE has moved a house show in NM from 9/25 to 9/23.

This post has some recent ratings for WWE and TNA in the UK. Keep in mind that TNA in a lot more homes.

After the break, I go into PWInsider.com's questions of the day, starting with whether Daniel Bryan should have cashed in his MITB briefcase the night of the PPV.

1. I don't think he should have. For one, it would think that he'd be more "honorable" than to cash in on someone in that kind of situation. But from a bigger picture standpoint, I think they should build him up more before he cashes in the briefcase. He's relatively new to WWE, and hasn't done much outside of the midcard, so they have to be careful not to have him look like a total fluke. Money In The Bank has been built as a pretty important elevation tool, similar to King of the Ring in the past, and they have to play their cards right with it for it to have the best effect. I definitely don't want him to have a brief title reign, only to drop back down into the midcard and make all that buildup close to meaningless.

Nothing to add to 2, so on to 3. Given TNA's history of going back to things that worked in the past, it wouldn't be surprising if they revisited that team at one point. Angelina and Velvet are on "opposite sides" right now, so it presumably won't happen soon, but I think I'd be willing to give it a chance if they do that down the line.

4. I don't see it happening any time soon. They seem to be more focused on the Knockouts that they already have in the company and those who have been there in the past.

5. Apparently not. You'd think that'd be kind of a no-brainer, but there must not be much of a chance of him ever going there even if they tried to smooth things over. Punk's mainly taking time off from wrestling rather than looking to go somewhere with a lighter schedule (though TNA's schedule's nothing to scoff at these days).

Sin Cara's interview in Mexico has been taken down. WWE isn't happy that he addressed the situation publicly, specifically taking issue with his claims that he doesn't know why he was suspended. He should probably stay out of the public eye for the rest of his suspension.

Joey Styles' return to announcing was part of the latest episode of Zack Ryder's YouTube show, which also featured appearances by "Mean Gene" Okerlund, Scott Stanford, Justin Roberts, Curt Hawkins, Darren Young, and Ryder's dad. Everyone seems to be having fun with the show. Kudos to him for coming up with it.

Matt Morgan's appearance on CMT's Made will air on 8/7/11.

TNA Turning Point 2011 will be in Orlando, Florida.

Eric Bischoff talked about TNA's X-Division recently. It's been quite a while since the cruiserweight division in WCW and its briefer run in WWE, so I'm not sure exactly how well it performed when presented "correctly". I personally don't care much for it, but I'm curious as to how it would look if "done right". I enjoyed the rivalry between Styles, Daniels, and Joe years back. They had more characters and psychology than a lot of the current crop in that division, and I think that's what made the big difference for me. At the time, I hadn't seen a lot of the flashy maneuvers that are hallmarks of that style, so everything felt unique. I honestly don't think they can recreate that without borderline starting from scratch.

Edge will be appearing at the ongoing Comic-Con.

And speaking of the event, WWE filmed an angle there where C.M. Punk interrupted Triple H and laid down a challenge for Rey Mysterio to come to Chicago to challenge him for the WWE Title. Pretty fun stuff. Zack Ryder even got a shout-out.

TNA has a special Kurt Angle action figure upcoming which will be sold to benefit the Wounded Warriors project. That's pretty cool.

Finally, here's an in-character interview with Samoa Joe.

That's all for Thursday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
