Orton pushing for HoF induction, Questions on Warrior-Hogan, the Hardy stun gun video, Sting the best non-WWE wrestler?, Mark Henry's push, and the Raw GM, WWE trademarks C.M. Punk, Val Venis claims to be blackballed from WWE, Team 3D starts promotion, and Billy Gunn talks WWE

Randy Orton pushed for Arn Anderson to be put in next year's WWE Hall of Fame class on Twitter. Can't argue with that choice.

PWInsider.com has new questions for Sunday to examine:
1. Hogan made comments on Warrior in the interview where discussed Savage, so that might have been what made him decide to get his feelings out there. The bandanna part I think was a shot at Hogan being "in character" most of the time. I mean, wearing a bandanna in court would be pretty unusual for anyone else to do. And he would probably have made it one video if it wasn't for YouTube's time restraints.

2. They apparently thought the whole thing was ok because it was just for fun. Or something. I'm starting to hope their next video is about taking a long break from wrestling and the internet.

After the break, I look at the rest of the day's questions and news, starting with whether Sting is the best wrestler to have never worked in WWE.

3. He's certainly the biggest name of the modern era who hasn't gone there, but I don't know about the best. No disrespect to Sting, but that's a pretty big statement and there are a LOT of guys who've never wrestled there (going back decades).

4. I think so. Did you see what he did to that sound guy? Seriously though, I'm not so sure. Coincidences happen. It was actually at a Smackdown taping.

5. Maybe he was indecisive on how to handle those things, or busy with something else (like conferring with higher-ups on the situation or giving instructions to security for instance). I don't know when it will end, other than "when they want to do something else".

This one should get people talking: WWE has registered to trademark the name C.M. Punk for merchandise use. They trademarked it for wrestling use in 2009. They also apparently have the trademark for Tommy Dreamer, but he's been using it post-WWE, so this might not be as big of a story as it appears at first glance.

WWE also registered to trademark "The Last Outlaw" for wrestling use, in reference to The Undertaker.

I couldn't find evidence on this on the page itself, but apparently former WWE and TNA wrestler Val Venis/Sean Morley is saying that he's been blackballed from WWE on his Twitter, possibly due to some of the controversial things he's posted on the account. I did find a number of references to him smoking marijuana recreationally, which wouldn't fly in the company anyway.

Team 3D has begun its own wrestling promotion named QWEST Wrestling in conjunction with their training school. Students (alumni?) Jesse Neal and Rob Terry are scheduled for their debut show on 7/23. It makes sense to have them wrestle in front of crowds to gauge their performances and what they need to work on. Working there in addition to TNA gives them added experience, similar to a number of WWE performers working in FCW when not on TV.

Former WWE and TNA wrestler Billy Gunn/Kip James was part of a recent interview to promote an indy show he's a part of. I don't think we'll see him return to WWE at 47, seeing as how the two main men in DX are retired and working behind-the-scenes respectively. I also think it's a good deal too soon to put the other DX members (except for Triple H) in the WWE Hall of Fame. As for the lack of standout guys, I'd add Orton and Mysterio at least to the list with Cena. Miz isn't too far from that tier, and I think you could even argue Kane and Big Show to an extent.

That's all for Sunday's news. More to come tomorrow. Thanks for reading!
