Interviews with Goldberg/Sean Oliver, former NWA Champ at WWEPC, Jackman vs. Cena?, WWE producer makes cameo on live event, possible Flair return and Questions on the WWE Network, Connor the Crusher, a Taker book and The Wolves

Goldberg discussed a potential WWE return with Jim Ross. I think he wants/needs that a lot more than WWE does. I love how he framed it as a proposition to make WWE money.

Update: JR and Goldberg also talked about wrestlers getting more time off. I agree wholeheartedly some performers really need time off at times. I think WWE's gotten better at this, but it could of course be better.

Kayfabe Commentaries' Sean Oliver talked about Roddy Piper and more. Oliver's put together some really great and insightful stuff.

Former NWA Champion Adam Pearce is a guest trainer for the NXT talents this week. WWE's doing a great job of getting varied names working with the talents there.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Hugh Jackman challenged John Cena on SportsCenter. I think there are some pretty good parallels between Wolverine and Cena as far as seemingly invincible, heavily exposed characters go.

CNN did a piece on championship makes Dave Millican. That's pretty cool.

Finlay made a cameo appearance at a WWE live event in Belfast, Northern Ireland to restart a match. There was a Dusty finish involving The Usos and the Wyatt Family when Harper used a title belt as a weapon. The Usos retained when the match was restarted. Pretty cool cameo in Finlay's home turf.

Pending medical testing, WWE has plans to put Ric Flair back on the road full-time. While he pitched the idea of working alongside Dolph Ziggler, he will likely be working alongside The Miz. Why not put Summer Rae with Miz given their movie together? Flair working with Miz is kind of a stretch compared to working with the brash, blond showoff.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. That definitely makes sense to increase subscriptions. I don't know if WWE will do it, though.

2. That's an interesting idea. I think they could do a special induction to represent all the fans in similar situations WWE's worked with all these years. That'd be pretty cool.

3. Maybe a DVD once he's retired and out of the business? He has opened up some in recent years, so I don't think it's completely out of the question.

4. This is my new favorite question ever. I think for every question about "PG WWE", Cena turning heel and when C.M. Punk's coming back, they need to post one like this.

5. I put the blame on TNA's dead tag team division more than anything else. It could definitely use some freshening up, but so could a lot of areas in TNA. I like the idea of Magnus and Bram as a team going for the titles personally. Given TNA's shrinking roster, I think it's a fair question to ask if they should even keep the tag team titles. There aren't a lot of teams to fight for them.

More wrestling tomorrow.
