When the decision was made to end Taker's streak, Interviews with HBK/Y2J/Bischoff, Steaphanie appearance, Foley bats for Bryan again and Questions on Bryan's main event push, veterans vs. newcomers, pushes for Del Rio and Rhodes, old school influences in WWE and the Wyatts' choir

Shawn Michaels told Jim Ross on Ross' podcast that the decision to end Undertaker's Streak was made on the day of WrestleMania. A lot of people in the company were in the dark, including the referee. That's interesting. I'd love to know what was going through everyone's heads that day.

Shawn Michaels also addressed C.M. Punk's situation. I think he knows what he's talking about here.

Chris Jericho discussed Adam Rose, Extreme Rules and more. That was lame, Chris. I can see some comparisons between Rose and Y2J, but I don't think they're trying to rip the older character off. If anything, Rose reminds me of Russell Brand.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Eric Bischoff talked about earlier attempts by Turner executives to drop WCW. It's amazing how WCW changed from the regional promotion it had been to a serious competitor to WWF. Bischoff deserves credit for that.

Stephanie McMahon went to California to promote WrestleMania 31. She's a VERY busy individual, much like her husband and father.

Mick Foley tweeted about Daniel Bryan's situation. I hope Bryan doesn't end up in the same situation Ryder did with this angle. I can definitely see the similarities in the two angles.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I believe Punk was going to be moved to facing Kane once they made the decision to do HHH vs. Bryan. Punk's leaving added to fans' frustration with the current order, and that helped Bryan get further over, but the wheels were in motion before then.

2. It's been a pretty common tradition to use older stars to work with the newer performers to get them further along. I figure most of them would rather get paid working with up-and-comers than not do anything. Ultimately not everyone can be pushed, and generally those veterans have gotten the same treatment when they were pushed earlier in their careers.

3. I wouldn't write Rhodes off yet. It looks like they have a plan for him to feud with Goldust. That will hopefully move him up the ranks. Hopefully they know how talented he is and how much potential he has. As for Del Rio, it looks like both sides are just waiting out his current contract.

4. HHH is definitely a fan of the old school, so I could see that affecting things. I doubt either man has time to watch a lot of old footage these days!

5. That segment was off-the-charts for sure. And yes, WWE sells the sheep masks at WWEShop.com.

More wrestling tomorrow.
