Chavo comic details, TNA press and hype, new WWE mobile game, Team 3D vs. breast cancer, WWE press and hype, Interview with Booker, Summerslam weekend note, Hogan rumorkiller, big WWE DVDs set, DDP Yoga profiled, new WWE charity, MVP protests, Impact moving nights, Del Rio update and Questions on no-compete clauses, Rollins vs. Ambrose, Cesaro, Punk-WWE and Drake Younger

I post this out of sheer bizarreness: details on the upcoming Chavo Guerrero comic. That should be something indeed.

Kurt Angle will be throwing out the first pitch at a "Legends of Wrestling" night for The Bowie Baysox. That could be one of his last gigs with TNA, regardless of their contract with Spike.

Mr. Anderson promoted a TNA live event. He's been better lately, as they've been using him in relatively small doses.

Bobby Roode promoted one as well. He and Austin Aries are my two choices for who should be TNA Champion after BFG. Both are quite talented.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.
One of the competitors from the next season of British Boot Camp was profiled. I could see TNA signing him just for the buzz of his character.

Update: Here's another piece on British Boot Camp 2. TNA's got a pretty good audience going on there.

A piece on TNA coming to the UK featured quotes from Lashley, Dixie Carter and Taryn Terrell. Will Lashley still be champion when they head there?

WWE has released a mobile card game, cleverly enough called SuperCard. Mobile games are a growing market and WWE wants in on that money!

Team 3D and a number of other stars are taking part in a charity to combat breast cancer. That's pretty cool!

Stephanie McMahon, Renee Young, Mark Henry and Alicia Fox are appearing for a Special Olympics benefit basketball game. That's also very cool. I think Henry will continue to be an ambassador for WWE as his in-ring career winds down.

Roman Reigns was on SportsNation and in USA Today. WWE's definitely behind him these days.

Seth Rollins also promoted Summerslam. There's a crop of former indy stars in WWE right now who could do really big things. I enjoy Rollins vs. Ambrose a good deal, but I'm not really sure it's the best path for the former Shield. It still seems odd for Rollins to have joined the people he was just trying to destroy in big PPV matches.

Booker T. was interviewed. I'm a little surprised he hasn't popped back up on TV. I don't think I'd mind him being a face authority figure again.

At this point, there's no announced post-show for Summerslam on the WWE Network, nor are there plans to show the Summerslam panels. That's disappointing. Some of those panels should be pretty good.

There's nothing to the stories of a Hulk Hogan/Ric Flair confrontation at Raw Monday. How do these stories get started?

WWE is doing a HUGE Randy Savage DVD set, which is hopefully a prelude to him going into the Hall of Fame.

Here's a good piece on DDP's yoga work. I'd recommend checking his system out if you need a good workout.

Kurt Angle promoted TNA in an interview. He has definitely had a lot of physical issues over the years, sadly.

Here's the cover for WWE's upcoming Sting DVD. It's finally happening! I wonder if one day WWE will have a Sting DVD with TNA footage.

WWE is working on a new celebrity anti-bullying charity. They take it very seriously, as they should.

MVP went to Ferguson, Missouri to take part in the protests there. That's a completely separate issue from the scope of this blog, so I won't go into it. I just think it's noteworthy.

Impact Wrestling is moving to Wednesday nights starting this coming Wednesday to avoid competition from the new fall season and NFL games. In other words, TNA was about to get Total Nonstop #REKT, especially if Smackdown moved to Thursdays. I'm sure NXT and Superstars have some effect on TNA, but not like Smackdown would. I hope this works for TNA ratings-wise. They're at the 11th hour with Spike negotiations.

Here's a note from a recent Kurt Angle interview regarding him coming back to WWE. I can see him coming back to WWE part-time if he passes the medical tests. This could be a big loss for TNA. Perhaps more important is the wrestling business relying on older names to do part-time work to prop up business.

Alberto Del Rio took part in an AAA press conference announcing his working there. I wonder how you say #&$^ THIS COMPANY in Spanish. Rey heading there could very well be happening if Rey can get out of his WWE deal.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. So... can they do Falls Count Anywhere matches? An interesting implication here is what happens if TNA loses their Spike deal before the 90 days is up? I don't anticipate Del Rio going there given his AAA announcements, but it's something to consider. I don't think it's time for him to be champion at Summerslam, but it could be a good change of pace. All in all, a pretty good read from Mr. Money in the Bank.

2. Yes, it would! But I think it was stipulated he couldn't force Rollins to defend the case. Maybe they save that for Night of Champions?

3. That theory would explain some of the booking decisions about him, but I don't think there's anything to it.

4. Even if the door was open, he has no plans to walk back through it! I definitely think he's done as a full-time wrestler. It'll be a good while before things will thaw on that front.

5. That's a good question, especially since they have the former Sami Callihan there. Ultimately they want him as a referee, not a wrestler.

More wrestling tomorrow.
