Query on Chyna returning, Harley Race update, Interview with McIntyre/Robbie E/Hogan/Simon Dean, Network expansion notes, Dixie Carter update, more TNA-NYC notes, Orton has issues with Twitter follower, Attitude Era on WWE Network update, Smackdown moving nights?, big WWE release and Questions on Swagger, Ziggler, why WWE is behind Cena and Brie vs. Stephanie headlining

First up, a query:
1. I see there being very little chance of Chyna returning to the ring for either WWE or TNA. I don't think either company wants to be associated with her at this point, and I can't say I blame them.

Harley Race's recent fall aggravated a cyst on his spine. After a three-hour surgery, the cyst was removed. I hope he heals well. It's a real shame he missed the final Mid-Atlantic convention.

The former Drew McIntyre talked about his WWE run and his future. It was impressive to see his dedication to keeping his return a secret. He's already getting high marks for his post-WWE work. It's a damn shame he didn't get to live up to his potential in WWE. I hope GFW is getting in touch with him.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

WWE.com has details for when the Network will be available in other countries. It's impressive how much they're expanding so quickly. This will be transformative for the company's business.

Dixie Carter was backstage at the most recent Impact taping, but did not make any appearances. I'm under the impression she's done as a character at this point. It's probably time. They definitely need to put the focus on the wrestlers, especially the ones who will be in TNA long-term.

TNA is doing free post-taping signings this week with a number of talents. That's cool!

New TNA signing Chris Melendez was profiled. I'm glad he's getting press. His story's very inspirational.

NJ.com looked at Robbie E being on "The Amazing Race". Not having social media for that long had to be tough for him!

Randy Orton tweeted about issues with a follower allegedly harassing him and his wife. That's very unfortunate and I hope the situation gets resolved.

WWE Network will begin showing Monday Night War-era content this fall, including Nitros and Raws from that time period. That's definitely something a lot of people want to see!

Hulk Hogan wants to wrestle again. He turns 61 Monday. I really don't think WWE should have him wrestle again, but I have a feeling it'll happen. About the only way I think I'd be OK with it is if it's a squash of someone like Damien Sandow. A loss would hurt him a lot less than someone with momentum like Rusev.

There are rumors of Smackdown moving back to Thursday nights this fall as part of WWE's new deal with NBC Universal. I'd be OK with that. If Impact's still on TV then, they definitely should go to a different night from Smackdown.

Update: There are further rumors of taping Raw and Smackdown on the same night. I don't think that would work out. That's a LOT of wrestling to be taped in one day.

Update: Smackdown hasn't been officially moved to Thursdays yet, but the fall schedule for SyFy is due soon. A change could indeed be made.

WWE looked at the current whereabouts of the former Simon Dean. I loved that gimmick so much. His pre-WWE work is pretty highly-touted as well. He has good words about life after wrestling.

WWE has released longtime timekeeper Mark Yeaton. He had been with the company for many years and held a lot of roles there. If that doesn't tell you how big of a hit WWE is taking with the Network, I don't know what will. I wish him the best post-WWE.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
Nothing to add to 1. It's just for them.

2. I definitely see Rusev winning the feud. I don't see how killing Rusev's undefeated streak this soon happens "in a perfect world" where WWE protects talent, but it's pretty clear at this point I operate on a different standard of logic than a lot of the questions and answers put out here. Rusev losing to ANYONE could hurt his momentum. That's generally what happens when you end long undefeated streaks. Anyway, Swagger and Zeb have been great as faces. I hope they still get momentum from this feud and go on to have a pretty good run.

3. Oh, boy... A Super X-Factor is hardly weak offense. The Zig Zag is a lame finisher, but as was said: he works really hard, has good matches with everyone and has a good persona. There are definitely people who want him to be pushed as a main eventer, but I think people just want him to be pushed to the level of his phenomenal athleticism and the effort he puts in. People are tired of guys like Cena and Orton main eventing year after year and want to see hard work of others rewarded.

4. When Cena stops drawing like a top babyface and others become as valuable money-wise as he has been, they'll change things. Cena actually sells and loses a lot more than he's given credit for, but it's never enough for his critics. WWE's audience is much bigger than those critics, and they consider that when deciding whom to push.

5. My thoughts? BULLSH*T. Total, complete bullsh*t. Brie vs. Stephanie has been built for months now, going back to Brie quitting to save Bryan's title (a continuation of the feud between Bryan and HHH going back to Summerslam 2013). This is actually a GOOD example of long-term booking and having a big, important segment close the show.

More wrestling tomorrow.
