The Tommy Dreamer/House of Hardcore-themed episode of "Impractical Jokers" aired this week. It was pretty entertaining.
TNA put out a press release about Dixie Carter going through a table. They're milking that one for all it's worth! It still looks like Bully overshot the mark. OUCH.

Chris Jericho helped a fan with terminal cancer propose at an event in Australia. That's really awesome!

Ken Lucas, who worked in the Southeast during the territory days, has passed away. PWInsider as always has a good writeup of his career.
Impact's viewership for the big Dixie Carter angle was 1.41 million viewers. That's a pretty good number for TNA. I wonder what Spike thinks about the recent uptick in viewership.
WWE's Twitter account put out two tweets directed at Alberto Del Rio, addressing his release. I've never seen the account used in such a manner. That doesn't read like a PR statement at all. There's definitely heat on Del Rio for him to be released and addressed in that manner.
For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. TNA generally gives a good amount of time off for the end of the year. I think they'll do the same this year if at all possible.
2. I think Cena vs. Lesnar appeals to the fans of big fights while Brie vs. Stephanie appeals to the "sports entertainment"/"soap opera" fans. Both are pretty big. I like AJ and Paige, but I don't think it's at the level of those matches. Lesnar and Stephanie don't wrestle all that much, so it's special when they do.
3. Opinions have definitely been mixed. I think EC3 and James Storm have also spoken out against its return.
4. The draw for Summerslam is Stephanie's first match in years. If she wrestles before then, the Summerslam match isn't as special.
5. I think it'd be a great cameo, but they might be saving him for something else.
