Main Event Reax - 8/26/14, GFW has deals Down Under, NBA player at Smackdown, Raw audience, Interview with Hogan/Stardust/Bo, what happened after Raw, Foley hurt and Questions on the Network in Canada, Bryan vs. Lesnar, NoC, Ambrose leaving, and WWF buying WCW contracts

Main Event:
Rollins vs. RVD was pretty good. I like when RVD gets to be the bigger wrestler (like his match vs. Neville in NXT). The ending was surprising given Rollins' status with the briefcase and RVD being close to gone, but I enjoyed the action.

Unless this is leading to Rollins injuring Van Dam to write him off TV for the end of his run, I don't see why they'd have RVD get the edge on Rollins.

Fun little Axel/Rose (!) segment. It looks like we might not see Ryback for a while.

Fine match between Axel and Rose. It's a shame Axel didn't make it as high as people were hoping when he was initially paired with Heyman.

Bray vs. Reigns could be quite the slugfest.

I enjoyed Goldust and Stardust vs. Los Matadores. I think we could be in for good things with the former team as heels.

More heeling from Stardust. Are we in for one last tag title reign for Goldust? The New Age Outlaws got one.

Everything else from Tuesday is after the break.

GFW announced partnerships with wrestling promotions in Australia and New Zealand. There are a lot of places for them to draw talent from, and that's great. But until they announce some shows and TV deals, it only means so much.

NBA's Tracy Murray was at the most recent Smackdown taping. I hope he enjoyed the show.

Monday's audience for Raw was 3.98 million. That's not bad, but it's definitely a drop from previous weeks. Lesnar's not going to physically appear every week and not everything's going to change overnight, so I can see why some people bailed.

Hulk Hogan talked about WWE's new Monday Night War show. Of course Hogan would have wanted the option to go back to WWE and make tons of money there. If TNA starting pulling in eight million viewers a week, it wouldn't shock me if he went back there. Rupert Murdoch getting into the wrasslin' business to feud with Vince would be rather intriguing, but I don't see it happening.

After Raw, John Cena just paraded around the ring. No dark match. He's probably still recovering from the match with Brock.

Mick Foley underwent minor surgery recently. I wish him the best.

Stardust was interviewed about his family history and more. Stardust doing the whole thing in-character was hilarious. The former Cody Rhodes is really amazing, as a wrestler and performer.

Bo Dallas talked about his own family history, his gimmick and more. I wonder what things look like for him going forward. Him winning a title would lead to some great celebrations.

For my take on Tuesday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. Basically, Rogers made WWE a great deal to have those rights on the Network. I'm sure WWE made a lot of money from it, but it doesn't seem like the best deal for Canadian WWE fans.

2. I think Lesnar would have still walked out of Summerslam as Champion. The idea of Lesnar as the dominant heel champ leading up to WM31 is pretty intriguing.

3. I see no reason for them to put the title back on Cena. Lesnar got the rub of a lifetime at WM30, and I don't see them beating the guy who broke The Streak so soon. There's a chance they do something where Rollins leaves with the title, but I think Lesnar vs. Reigns at WM31 is the working plan.

4. Absolutely. The injury angle was great and maybe it leads to Rollins vs. Ambrose at Hell in a Cell, but it's disappointing he had to be taken off TV.

5. Right. WCW was just part of the large Turner empire, sold off like other assets. TNA's more of its own entity as far as talents not having contracts with Panda Energy or what have you. If TNA ceases operation, all wrestlers' contracts become moot.

More wrestling tomorrow.
