Main Event Reax - 8/19/14, post-Raw dark match, Ambrose update, Dixie's ice bucket challenge, Raw guest, WWE App change, Interviews with Ryback/Heyman, Raw audience, Monday Night War update and Questions on Orton as a face, Sheamus, Amrbose vs. Rollins, helping Bully Ray, firing Lawler, Brock vs. Cena at Mania, Russo in WWE, Steen's ring name, MITB and TNA attendance

Main Event:
Pretty good exhibition to show what Sheamus can do. I hope he can be a top name again. Maybe he could even challenge Lesnar?

Cesaro vs. Sheamus for the title should be pretty good. They always have great matches.

They're not wasting any time getting to that rematch, are they? I wonder how many dates Brock will actually work as champ.

Good little Divas' match to get Nikki's heel turn further along.

I wasn't too crazy about the Henry/Show segment. The luchadore quip was pretty funny; but in general, I feel like I've seen everything there is to see from Show. Henry at least has the angle of one more shot at the WWE Title they can pull out.

The 3MB/Los Matadores angle continues without the actual 3MB around. It was fine for what it was.

So-so post-match. Not my cup of tea.

Good Harper/Rowan promo.

Rollins vs. Swagger could be really good. I think Swagger's going to continue to be depushed, which is a shame.

I guess it's OK to have a big man match every once in a while. I wasn't really a fan of that match, but that's the kind of match those two work.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Chris Jericho beat Bray Wyatt after Raw. Rowan and Harper interfered, but to no avail. So, they legitimately didn't use Cena all night.

Dean Ambrose is now listed as "at large" after escaping medical assistance following his match with Rollins. This is a write-off for him to go film a WWE movie. I hope it makes WWE a ton of money because Ambrose is one of the best performers they've got. Why sacrifice him for a film role?

Set for this week's NXT:
- Tyson Kidd vs. Tyler Breeze
- A big announcement from Triple H
- The Vaudevillains vs. Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady in the #1 Contendership Tag Team Tournament
- Sin Cara and Kalisto vs. Adam Rose and Sami Zayn in the #1 Contendership Tag Team Tournament
- Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch
- Mojo Rawley vs. Steve Cutler

Should be a pretty good show.

Dixie Carter did a milk version of the ice bucket challenge, after being challenged by Kurt Angle. I was hoping Rockstar Spud and EC3 would do the honors...

Former WWE star Rico visited at Raw. He lives near Las Vegas. He made the most of his character.

The WWE App now allows you to customize push alerts, so PPV spoilers shouldn't be a problem.

Ryback talked ahead of a live event. We've been waiting for a new Tough Enough for a LONG time. The Skip Sheffield character was very different from what we're seeing now.

Paul Heyman talked about ECW falling apart and being fired from WWE. 2001 was a game-changer for the wrestling business. He also talked about TNA's financial woes. Definitely worth listening to.

Raw's audience Monday was 4.19 million, down from the previous week. No Cena probably made a mark there. That's a shame, because it was a really good show.

Monday Night War is set to debut after Smackdown. People have really been looking forward to that!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I think Orton splitting from The Authority to feud with Rollins and BROCK LESNAR could work. With Bryan hurt and Ambrose filming, they might need to go that route.

2. I'm certainly a fan of Sheamus and think they could do more with him.

3. I do think that stipulation was off, unless Ambrose was confident enough in his toughness to not care that those lumberjacks would go after him as well. It worked out.

4. Yes, everyone was fed up with Dixie to the point of helping out Bully Ray. That doesn't mean they get along, just that they had a common enemy.

5. If only! I respect Lawler's contributions and also want to see the Memphis library owned by WWE, but Lawler belongs to a bygone era as far as being a commentator on their staple show. But

For my take on the second batch of yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It'd be an ideal story if we haven't already had so many stories like that with Cena. Someone else should unseat Brock at Mania.

2. Russo doesn't have a monopoly on those kind of angles. I see no way in hell he ends up working for WWE again.

3. Punk was lucky in that regard. I hope he can be Kevin Steen since he's known under that name and WWE's already used that name for him on the website. If it is the Reality Era or whatever, it should be fine for him to be Steen. Fans will chant for him as Steen either way.

4. There's time after Mania. It's also possible someone beats Rollins for the briefcase and uses that cash-in for a guaranteed Mania match. The Authority could say it's best for business for Brock not to defend, but the MITB holder gets to cash in at any time.

5. Negative TNA stories are easy click bait for non-credible sites that post false rumors.

More wrestling tomorrow.
