Query on WWE-MSG, WWE live event notes, Summerslam stats, TNA live event notes, Interview with Kenely, top TNA name finishing up?, Summerslam 2015 location, Summerslam guests and Questions on Smackdown moving, Steen in WWE, The Menagerie, 90-day clauses, and WWE post-Mania

First up, a query:
1. WWE doesn't run MSG more because it's really expensive! There are also a lot more rules due to the strong unions there.

Ric Flair was the referee for Chris Jericho beating Bray Wyatt at a live event this weekend. Hulk Hogan appeared to tease coming back for one more match. John Cena beat Kane in a street fight. Kane was in jeans (i.e. not masked or in-costume). I hope WWE wouldn't let Hulk tease a comeback if they didn't think he'd be cleared for one, but you never know with Hogan.

Here are a LOT of Summerslam statistics. That's not a great record for Cena. He does lose a lot of big matches, but he's still put in a lot of big matches and those losses don't seem to affect him that much.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

Kurt Angle did the ice bucket challenge on a TNA live event, but with milk instead of water in reference to his early WWE career. That's pretty funny. Mr. Anderson teamed with Eddie Edwards in a non-title loss to Team 3D due to Davey's injury.

Former TNA announcer Todd Kenely was interviewed. Tenay and Taz could become former TNA announcers if Spike drops Impact.

Bully Ray informed the TNA locker room at a recent live event that he's on his way out of the company. His contract expires shortly, with this past weekend's shows being his last required dates. TNA has taped material building to Bound For Glory featuring Bully Ray, and Team 3D is set to go into the Hall of Fame then. This puts all of that in jeopardy. It's not like TNA didn't know his contract was expiring. I suspect that's why he's gotten so much screen time lately and been given more pull backstage (he pitched the long Dixie table bump angle and was working as a producer). I think at best they'll come to a deal for him to work through BFG and finish that angle, but it's no guarantee. TNA continues to get bad news. Kurt Angle could be following Bully out the door, and of course there's the situation with Spike. TNA's not dead yet, but things aren't looking good for them right now.

Summerslam will be in the NY/NJ area next year. I'm OK with them shaking the location up after so many straight years in LA.

Former WCW World Champion David Arquette, UFC's Ronda Rousey and the Four Horsewomen, ESPN's Bill Simmons, President of the AJ Lee fan club Michelle Beadle, Rick Rubin, Maria Menounos, Eric Stonestreet, Dennis Haskins, Fred Durst, Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, Clark Duke, Linda McMahon, Warrior's family and the children of HHH and Stephanie McMahon were at ringside for Summerslam. That's quite the lineup!

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. It might be as soon as this fall that Smackdown moves. Wednesday makes sense for NXT and Superstars. No way they'd put it up against Smackdown.

2. First he needs to get his feet wet in NXT and the two sides (WWE and Steen) need to get a feel for each other. It could be some time before he's on the main roster. But the simple answer is they need to play to his strengths and cover up his weaknesses. Use him for what he's best at.

3. TNA had other priorities in the NYC tapings. I can't say I blame TNA for going with other acts for that audience.

4. They can't physically compete in the promotion before the deal is up, but they can be in attendance as fans.

5. They haven't forgotten about Bryan. He's a big part of the Brie/Stephanie feud without actually being present because he needs to be recovering at home. Cena was just champ to pass it on to Brock, which I don't have a problem with. There are definitely flaws in what they've done after Mania, but there are still some things really worth watching.

More wrestling tomorrow.
