WWE live event notes, Rock's family in wreck, details on TNA's UK tour and Questions on Devitt/Kenta, Dixie, Rollins as champ, HHH as champ and Sabu vs. Funk

Damien Sandow's shtick at the most recent live event saw him dress as "a Canadian in summer" before issuing a challenge. Big Show beat him via chokeslam. Sandow then issued another challenge only to lose to Adam Rose. Sandow then said he was never coming back to Canada. Standard stuff from Sandow recently. I hope the act is over on live events.

Also, Sin Cara/Tyson Kidd/El Torito beat Slater Gator and Hornswoggle, so Slater Gator's still a thing on live events and Slater still works with Hornswoggle. The main event saw Dolph Ziggler kick out of an RKO to win with a Zig Zag clean. That had to have popped a lot of people.

The Rock's mother and cousin were struck head on by a drunk driver. Both are OK, thank goodness. Photo of the crash here. It's a damn shame when accidents like that happen.

Everything else from yesterday is after the break.

TNA has announced details for the UK tour in January 2015. The tour's been booked for a while now. Naturally there's speculation of these being the last TNA wrestling shows. That's not official at this time.

For my take on yesterday's PWInsider.com questions:
1. I definitely think there will be efforts to make the most of the two signings. I think part of the problem is some in management/creative not knowing how best to use smaller stars after so long being focused on the bigger, "football player" types. Hopefully we'll see a further transition to stars like Kenta and Devitt being used effectively.

2. Dixie's done as an on-screen character, at least for the time being. Kurt Angle is the authority figure for now.

3. I don't see any reason to hotshot the title like that. I'm a fan of Rollins, but it's way too soon to beat the guy who beat The Streak!

4. There's a reason the Evolution years on Raw were called The Reign of Terror. HHH beat quite a few people who fans wanted to be Champion: RVD, Orton, Kane, Booker, Goldberg and Steiner come to mind. The top guy usually is pretty dominant. I think there's going to be fallout when anyone gets a long title reign (or multiple long title reigns). I wonder how people felt about Bruno's long reign?

5. ECW was a pretty crazy time, no?

More wrestling tomorrow.
